Choosing VCA over Rolex

Since you prefer a quartz watch, that will save you some money that you can spend on VCA!

As for Cartier watches, I have thought about ballon bleu, but the design looks like the moment of conception and I don't plan to have children so I worry the symbol of the watch mess up my plan.

Thank you for all your suggestions.

It is certainly fine if you do not like the Cartier Ballon Bleu, but I can absolutely promise you that your choice of watch will have nothing whatsoever to do with your plan for no children! I do not see that at all. It just happens to have a quartz version in 28mm and 33mm, with diamond markers or Roman numerals. I just think it's a much nicer watch than the Ronde Solo, more feminine and compatible with VCA.

Dear, I have considered this in a smaller size since I like small size watches. I just think quartz watches are more reliable in terms of telling time but the majority of people think that better put a bit more on a mechanic watch.

Yes, I also think that I can get both the lotus earrings and the watch if I spend less on a watch like instead of getting a Breguet, get another watch from another brand.

I wish VCA could put the markers in the inner circle of their Alhambra watch or Charmed watches, this way, I don't need to think.

My feeling is that if you don't value a mechanical watch, there is no purpose in paying for that. I will admit my Cartier Tank Francaise is quartz. I do not wear a watch daily (and I have other watches), and I don't have to worry about winding and resetting a mechanical watch every time I wear it (or else having to buy a watch winder and finding a place to keep it!). I have also read that quartz is the most accurate. So just because some of us prefer certain brands or certain movements does not mean you have to get those, including what I have recommended! I did want to add that even though I prefer the Ballon Bleu, I do think the 29mm Ronde Solo is an attractive watch and would seem to meet your needs. I think the most important thing is that you like the style to wear with your VCA jewelry! But honestly, I wouldn't want to wear Alhambra earrings, necklace, bracelet, and watch all at the same time, so I prefer a non-VCA watch (for a daily wear watch), personally. The JLC Rendez-vous 29mm is similar in style to the round Cartier watches with an art deco look and much higher price for the automatic.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will definitely go to look at all the brands that the members recommended here.

I have a lot to think about because I wear my watch every day but won't wear the lotus earrings daily, according to cost per wear theory, it seems like a watch is a better investment in my life. I don't plan to sell neither my jewelry nor my watch. It is just for self enjoyment. So maybe I shouldn't think too much?

This is my Chopard IMPERIALE 28mm quartz in RG. I chose this because it’s more a piece of jewellery with the functionality of telling time.

It is now available in a 29mm AUTOMATIC option. Can’t wait to hear what you decide.

Thank you for your suggestions and the MOD shot. I will check it out in the store. I like this style more than the happy diamond.

I loove the Cartier Ronde Solo 29mm with the darker red leather strap.

It is going to be really difficult to find a luxury brand 28mm-31mm watch with an automatic movement that isn't Rolex.

Another nice brand that has a 27.4mm quartz version in many configurations is the Omega Prestige DeVille. (The automatics start at 32.7mm).

The 32.7mm ones are quite nice!
