Yes!!!I did!!!
Ha, ha, thanks, bunnycat. I was sure I wasn't the first to find these. I would have picked the Q in fuschia/violet/turquoise for sure.
I decided pre-spend my 2021 clothing budget for these. With a Hermes scarf, who will notice if there are old threads underneath?
After going through this thread I am on a quest for mousseline scarves. How do you identify the changeant scarves if it’s not listed as such? Is a design produced as both a regular and a changeant mousseline?
A great post for anyone looking for a changeant bunnycat!Your best bet for finding older designs that have a changeant quality is to make note of them in this thread. Since the mousselines are only being released in spring right now, and only a couple of simple designs so far, you’ll mostly need to look to past seasons if you want that specific effect.
Not all colorways had a changeant quality. Usually a couple did and a couple didn’t of a particular design, and some were only partial changeants also which makes it even harder to locate. It’s part of the weaving process and not a surface effect and it is probably safe to say it is mainly moussie geeks who tend to seek it out. Usually it isn’t listed in a listing, but you have to both learn to look for it, and make notes on previous releases that had it to help you in your search.
Occasionally the tag names will help and double names like Poudre Iris or Fuchsia Jaune could indicate the changeant like in RBH’s Quintessence.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has browsed the whole thing a couple of timesMy pleasure! As someone who has been through this thread multiple timesI can say it’s a great source of info even with some broken pics.
Thanks so much. This is very helpful. I am making a list from scarves in this thread. So beautiful! Wow you have been on a moussie mission lately. Congrats on finding so many new with tags.I purchased this blue Faune Lettree mousseline a few weeks ago hoping it was a changeant. It is, sort of, but not as dramatic as the Quintessence. I think that the shade of blue is quite beautiful, and maybe, when my tiny grandson is a bit older, we can search for the animals and letters together. Anyhow, I'm pulling it out because we are having one last nice summer day today.
