It's also Memorial Day...but I like to think instead that my birthday is a holiday this year... Orange boxes will surely be involved. Maybe a little blue box too if I am really lucky....but at least one orange one....
You have much to celebrate!:party:There should be multiple boxes for the multiple holidays! (I hope this logic pays off...:amuse:)

Thank you! I've got to get used to the heavier/stiffer feel of it, but I love how the ends stay roundish even when tied!
I was amused because after washing and ironing it, I laid it on the bed for the hems to continue to dry. After they were dry, I tried to fold it… tried to. It folds over once easily, but twice? It doesn't want to! So it's a bit round still, I put it underneath my 90cm cashmere to 'encourage' it to control itself! :giggle:

Thanks sweetie!

Soooo... about this washing mousseline thing. I thought water and mousselines were a bad combination? Can i beg for a pointer as to the right way to do it? I'm already fine with washing my 90s but I worry about ruining my mousselines.

Not for me. Mousselines are the only format I don't wash. Once washed their texture is never the same again.

I have washed all of mine, and have not noticed any change in the texture of the fabric. That said, YMMV and I would never tell you to do it if you weren't comfortable with it.
Somewhere I think there is a thread about washing scarves - it's basically the same as washing a silk twill - EXCEPT - you iron while it's still wet.
After rinsing, I lay it flat on a towel, and roll it in the towel (like a jelly roll) to get excess water off, then immediately to the ironing board to start ironing. If the scarf gets dry too quick, you can spray it with a little more water to keep it damp… this is more of an issue with the 140cm moussies.
I'll see if I can find the thread, I think @bunnycat has posted it too.

Edited to add the link - https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/cleaning-hermes-scarves.37705/page-51#post-31327673 - just search mousseline, I think it's around post #760
If you'd like to talk further, just PM me - I don't want to derail the thread!
