Many thanks Julide,Luvbolide, bunny and all the Likers! Interesting note: this issue feels lighter tgan the older mousselines and i was quite surprised the weight was not heavier even though it was issued in 1998, i wonder if this was the start of the lighter weight mousselines. It is about the same weight as my Nuees imaginere or Litteratures. My heaviest mousse is Sulfures. I am guessing it has to do with the amount of screens on the individual design.

Interesting to learn of differences in moussies - I haven’t weighed my 140’ies, but I swear my first, Trois Feuilles, is significantly tougher and coarser than the others, esp when compared to the changeantes, which are “barely there”

Thank you lanit! I'm going to have to double check, but I think there was a spate of these wide bordered changeant moussies in the early-mid (??) 2000's. Some I've seen multiple times on various sites are La Rosee, Serenite, and I did see one other P de Sables changeant (wide border) and it was an astonishing blue and purple change. Really something special. I think Vinci may have come in a GM changeant with a wide border at some point too.

Quick question - would the moussies have been issued with the same pattern and colours as the changeants? I got a Serenite moussie 140 from the bay a few months back, main colour is bright apple green, Granny Smith for want of a better word - would it have been issued as a changeant as well you think? V much looking forward to your double checking :-)

Only once... life has kinda gotten out of control since the end of the summer. :annoyed: Really haven't been wearing any of my silks.
Gosh, you have a good memory! :flowers:
I recall it being so very pretty! (And looking very nice with pearls...)

This is truly out of this world amaaaazing... Major congrats and enjoy this glorious mousse!!

Thank you Sammy! :hugs: It's pretty rockin'!

Agreed. My Cavaliers d'Or is like a mousseline tank. As opposed to the "barely there" changeants.

There is a changeant Serenite with the wide border. I think there are 2 on evil bay last I looked....One was orange to green changeant and the other I can't tell. Red and something....

Ok- It's been a long and busy day but I finally have a little break to share my NTM GM moussie.

I suppose I could have posted it in this week's SOTD impulse purchase theme, since I bought it within a day of finding it, except that I research and hunt for mousseline scarves way too much and especially the changeants to really consider any of them an impulse buy. They are always on my radar and calling me. Here kitty kitty...nice Bunny....want some candy? First time's free! :panic:

I may have learned an important lesson with this scarf. I've had the design before in a PM (now moved on to a new home) so it wasn't really on my radar again, but the changeant colors on this are  so I got it in anyway since there was a return policy if I changed my mind. So I like for my moussies to be very distinct, I prefer for there to be a pattern on it, and if there is no changeant, it has to be a designer and pattern I really want. Otherwise, if it is a changeant, then as long as it has some sort of agreeable pattern I tend to be swayed more by the changeant properties than the particular pattern. That's important info for me going forward now...

Without further ado....It's Green! It's Black! It's Purple! It's grurpleack? Grackle? You had me at purple!

Whatever it is it is the most bright leafy green changeant! I mean really bright. I spent days trying to get the camera to catch what I was seeing and gave up....Glowing peridot olivine is what I'd call it...with red violet changeant. :faint:

The peridot green vibrates so much it interferes with the black hem.
