Hello mousseline fans! Dropping in to add a few pics, as I've added a few mousselines to my small collection.
The first two are the darling, tiny ones that bunnycat inspired me to purchase, with all her beautiful modelling pics!

L'Art d'Ecrire - pochette in white/navy - designed by Maurice Tranchant
Les Allures - pochette in white/black - designed by Hugo Grygkar

And this third one is a pattern I've admired for ages, but have rarely seen in mousseline. Thanks again to seton for helping me to date it, and I believe I'm sisters with textilegirl on this one! Unable to find a "scarf story" for this design, I enlisted my husband. I spread it out and we stared at it for a bit! It appears to be names of rivers, the length of each in km, and the countries each passes through. The last photo best captures the colors. I love the simple graphics of this!

Fabulous finds! All lovely however I especially like the first one.. Sooo dreamy! Congratulations

I'm glad you guys said this because that's how I feel too. They seem very difficult to track down. Most of mine have been charge sends without actually being able to try them. I didn't know if I was just being over anxious. My store doesn't get many perhaps due to our cold climate.

I live in Florida and there are not many in my boutique.

That's interesting. One of mine was sent from Hawaii. So I thought maybe there were more in warmer climates. They probably don't stock many because the price tag is daunting to many people. Same issue with the 140 silks too I think. But once you try the large formats you are hooked.

I have one from years ago & recently wanted to add more. My SA told me they don't get many. I saw a Zebra Pegasus on H. com. She is going to try to have that cw brought in to the store. I would think being Florida there should be several styles. It fits the climate well.

I just love your choices and not without a little envy , I think these black and white mousselines are super chic but sadly black and white don't suit me very well .
It's the simplicity that gets me every time

How wonderful etoile!!! I've no doubt there are other color schemes that bring you joy, but the spare compliment of white and navy, or black, or brown suit you so well. And look, here they are!!! Your white/brown Sources is TDF; the design is so much more successful in those colors than in the screaming orange/fuschia that I have. No regrets on my part because it was ridiculously priced, but should yours go missing one day, you know where to look:p. Congrats on your new moussies!:hugs:

So happy to have inspired you etoile! These are all divine!! Art d'Ecrire in pocket square! So cool!! The white and navy makes it super chic! And b/w and brown/white is totally classic!

I need to take some time to update in here as well!

Many thanks for the likes, everyone!

Congrats on your lovely moussies! Very interesting detective work on the last one, well done

Thanks so much, eliwon, and yes, makes sense with the title too, so we're sticking with it! ;)

Thank you, chincac! And I agree, I was most excited about the tiny L'Art d'Ecrire!

Hi froufrou, thank you so much, and I'm such a fan of the simple designs, too! The white background mousselines with dark patterns (especially like L'Art d'Ecrire) are so etherial, not stark at all. They might work for you!

Hi textilegirl, many thanks! Can you believe it's taken me this long to find a white/brown scarf? I thought I'd never find one! Regarding your Les Sources, I love your tone on tone, vibrant colorway! It actually reminds me of my Ex-Libris GM Dip Dye, in Fuchsia/Rouge Orange. Here's a link to a pic - https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...u-wearing-today.738754/page-549#post-23988764 Is that bright enough for you? It's actually a beautiful colorway, but seemingly impossible to take a picture of it, and not have it appear garish. I've tried so many times! Regarding our sister Les Sources, if we lived nearby, I'd be happily share!

So delighted for you dear etoile! They are so YOU! Love the L'Art mousse. Must model for us sweets.

Dear lanit, thank you, so sweet of you! Don't you think we've waited long enough for another release of L'Art d'Ecire, we've been very patient! Will try to model soon!

Thank you, bunnycat! And yes, for so long I discounted this tiny size as too wispy, and puny! The 90 size, too! All that I've passed on over the years! I love how you wear the pochettes cowboy style, and also two at once. I look forward to seeing your update!

We will form an orderly queue on the Sources then
