I just picked up a Tendresse Feline silk moussie stole in red. The stores also had blue, orange and purple. I haven't seen this design in this format on the threads yet but I think the stoles are this season. Anybody know about it?

Oh, how nice - love the colors. I didn't even realize that they were making this pattern this season - I clearly need to pay more attention. Congrats and enjoy wearing this beauty!

Gonna add on my plissed mousse here- La Musique des Spheres...tried to open it up on a chair without tooooo much stretching of the pleats....trying to keep that going for as long as possible.

Are the regular twill plisses as easy to drape and work with as the mousse?

Super casual here...

Ohhhh! I have never seen a plisse mousseline. Lovely bunnycat.

Does anyone know if Hermes will still plisse a flat scarf?

Thank you papertiger and PbP!

You don't see plissed mousses often. I have seen Passiflores and this one and maybe a couple of others. Don't know if it got done to them or came that way. I think a few years ago you could still have it done but unsure if that is still true.

That's a new one to me , the older mousselines had a lot more body than current ones which must have made pleating easier.
It looks great!
I love my plissé twill , yes it's very easy to style that's built in as it were.
I'm always intending to add more, they are great for Summer .

From the tag too, it looks like it's SS 2016. The only moussie stole I knew about was Paradis de Soie. This one is lovely, thank you for sharing it (and the tag)!!

I'm sorry that I don't have pictures to accompany this info, but I saw a couple of the Paradis de soie stoles today and took down their cw info: cw 04 turquoise/violet/canard and cw 07 fuchsia/vert/violet. I preferred cw 04 because I tend to be drawn more to blues and purples, but they were both lovely. Hope this helps someone!

Omg bunny - I too have the musique Plisse in that weird fabric - same cw - love , love , love it
Not the same as the current mousse - this one is crepy - I have heard it called creponné in French - crepy - and it looks a bit like cheesecloth - not a tight weave at all - perfect for summer - mine us nice and floppy and looks like it will stay that way - the pleats will always look a bit loose

Ohhhh I didn't realize this design was coming in mousse as well as giant silk! Nice I hope I can see it next week! Both cws sound gorgy!

Twins! HI 5!!! :ghi5:

Yes! It is a little crepey-er than silky like you would normally expect. But with the pleats the overall effect is very soft. Good to know the pleats will hold up even if they are a bit loose. I don't want to de-pleat anything...(ba dum bump) :D :roflmfao:

The pleating makes the colors blend in to a nice soft overall warm color effect which I really like. I've been fascinated with pleated mousses since that Passiflores that I missed out on...

I have never seen a mousseline plissee bunny! Kudos for your find and a lovely design at that.

Colours are just amazing :tender:

Thank you sweets.:hugs:

So true about the older moussies. I miss those - the newest ones wrinkle like crazy too.

What else to wear but pink to a ballet performance this afternoon? More photos on SOTD.
