Question to you ladies, do you just use your mousselines in the summer? I tried to use my Kelly 'n Pearl last summer but I have to say it was too warm on me most of the summer days. But they seem to be too thin for colder days.

Hi xiangxiang! I wear my moussies year round. It's surprising how much warmth they can offer when piled around the neck. And I think the chiffon texture/transparency is fun to play with for layering.

Here's a turtleneck modeling pic of an Axis Mundi mousseline that I wear in the fall & winter quite often: http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes-clubhouse/chiffon-mousseline-scarves-123698-188.html#post24270380 I could have sworn I also had a modeling pic of an emeraude/burgundy Flots du Cheval that I like to wear in winter, but I can't seem to turn it up at the moment....

Everyone else: you are looking amazing in your new mousselines! I haven't had a chance to comment recently, but I'm definitely looking in at every opportunity and admiring the new finds.

I guess it also depends on the humidity. If it's dry, I am able to wear it in summer morning and evening, and in office. It's perfect for winter here if I wrap around a few layers.

In the humid summers here, I only wear my moussies and 90's in the office. I put them in my bag when I go outside.

Hi! I agree these can be warm in summer but are perfect in AC! So, I wear when I can and always carry a small ziplock so that I easily take it off and slip in my bag! These fit in such small bags so it is so easy!

In winter, I wear over a cashmere turtle neck....plenty warm!

GO FOR IT!:D

Hi ladies, love reading and seeing your moussies. I'm new to this but love how versatile they are. How can I tell if a design is a changeant? I'd love one. TIA!

HI Fabfahion, On the inventory tag you would have two colors without the / for instance fuchsia jaune or iris poudre or bleu fuchsia. Also on the modeling pics the mousseline shows up as changing colors depending on angle of camera. But on the web page it's hard to tell so it's best to Google modeling pics or search for them on this forum. :-) Sometimes you can find a listing of all the CWs of a design here and they indicate whether it's changeant or not.

Thank you so much, alrgordon! I've seen modelling pics of the changeants and they're amazing. I should have tried the moussies much sooner. I'm finding them easier to wear than the CSGMs, and they're quite sturdy too surprisingly.

Scarf1, I must have missed you! I have an SA there who doesn't take off the tags for me but she was on vacation :-(. I ended up going to Waikiki. Thought about you when I bought another blue moussie (wink). She comes back today. What H goodie did you buy? :-) Btw, for anyone interested, the blue bleu violet vert Jardin Anglais is in Waikiki still in plastic!
I am flying to Honolulu on Wednesday. We are relocating there. Please tell me where would I find it? 😄

Hi, calexandre, mimi 123, Hat Trick and hopiko, thank you all for sharing your thoughts! I am wearing my blue English Garden today, continuing from last week. I think I just need to get used to it. Aren't they the most fabulous and luxurious scarves among all formats?

Waikiki store in Royal Hawaiian Shopping center on Kalakaua.
LOL, I tried on the blue anglais jardin, but in the end picked the stole format.
They had quite a few mousses, including some designs and colors I had not expected. Good luck!
Aloha!

per the requests, here are few quick pix from playing around in the hotel room.
I actually wore the pink one with the black dress to dinner that night!
sorry quality isn't the best, as I was using iPhone. Plus I need to review Elaine's directions on the girl scout knot!
One thing that I like but you can't really see in these pix, is the narrow contrast hem.

Congrats on your new moussie, Croisette!

I picked this beauty up on a business trip last week. Dans un Jardin Angais - CW 11 - Rose/lilas/rose

The colors in this are so soft and pretty..love it for spring and summer! I think it would like great with a white t shirt!!
I hate you, Hopiko! I thought I can ban myself from buying this, but your pics are always so enabling!

So many beautiful mousselines this spring! All you ladies are enablers!

I've been enabled by Lanit and I've jumped on the Urashima Taro bandwagon..cloud 9!
Look who's into blue now!!! :graucho:

Have been dreaming of a mousse for a few months now. Finally got my first (and second) today.
Don't think these have been shown yet. Couldn't decide between these CWs, so got both!:D:D

Rose de Compas Stoles:
CW1 - pinks, CW2-blues
Scarf1 - Congrats on your first mousselines! If I shall offer my humble opinion, I'd highly advise that you buy one stole and one shawl in different designs - that's the best way to expand a mousseline collection, given H issues mousselines only once a year now. I think you'll look great in one of the blue Jardin Anglais... Just saying...
