Has anyone seen what the Peuple du Vent mousse colorway 11 - (gris perle, violet, vert) looks like? My SA says it is beautiful but I can't find a picture anywhere.

This mousseline has been on top of the HG list since I saw pictures of it on this thread years ago. Dear chestnutty kindly posted it on the Finds thread, and in spite of not the best pics or seller H experience I had to try. The shawl arrived in wonderful condition and even prettier than imagined. Tried it on immediately, in spite of "gardening hair" and no makeup....

Seeing all gorgeous pictures here, I am jealous. I got my hands on a PdV CW11 in vegas, so happy... but found it's full of snags. Really disappointed, then exchanged to CW04 in another store. No horrible snags this time, but found a few places with long mis-print, or call it color loss.
Now I am concerned with the H quality. All my previous mousse has no problem. Not sure if I should go try the third luck.

I believe 'misprints' in moussies are rather common. I usually accept the shorter ones less than 3". My philosophy is that stores don't order many moussies to start with, so I am forced to accept these defects. But the very first cw03 PdV moussie I laid my hands on had a 8" misprint & I couldn't accept it. Now mine is rather misprint & snag-free.

I saw the fuchsia Peuple du Vent today. It looked exactly like on h.com! And the best part is that it was not as thin as the Chasse en Inde mousse stole. I suspected that it was not a changeant as it's a bit stiffer and the details showed through nicely! The purple shade is lovely as well!

DLee, I would exchange the red PdV. I think it is a bit dull, lacking intrigue and vavavoom. Hope you don't mind my frankness.

Guepards cw 08 rose/bleu/vert. A stunningly beautiful combo of deep pink, purple, blue and green with pink contrast hem. And I do have more clothes than the grey dress lol! It is a great canvas for trying scarves.
