Hopefully this is an appropriate post. I listed some new items I saw yesterday in the BH store. (Hermes shopping thread). I just wanted to emphasize that they also had a "green" special edition BH moussie shawl (and the turquoise blue also). Also saw 3 Chasse Inde.................if you are looking... will post the green which I purchased later today...............

THE BH Limited Edition Moussie in the color I am calling "green" is 02, it is currently available on line. It just looks really different to my eye IRL than the pic.

Oh, dear bjostone, please share your impressions of the BH limited mousse (both green and turquoise)! Was tempted when I saw them online, but reluctant as I assumed the online photos might not well represent the true colors. These are so hard to capture in photos! Any thoughts appreciated! :smile1:

Blue skies, blue waters, blue people trying to "make it"? 'til tomotto!

Hi guys!
I have a problem here. Can u advise me?

Since the purchase of my first mousse in Mar/Apr, I have accumulated 11 moussies. So I figured that I would gladly go to ban island after the 12th one. I'd basically got all the colors I wanted. But I lacked a rouge one. So when Peuple du Vent came out in a rouge cw, I ran to H at Olympic speed to grab it. But now I am rather hesitant if I should keep it. U see, this is the shade of red I have been looking for, but somehow the pattern doesn't show well. Just compare the reference pictures provided by Chestnutty. My SA said somehow patterns on red moussies do not show as well as on other colored moussies. Is this true? Or should I wait for another red moussie to appear? TIA!:smile1:

I have been tempted by this one as well, D Lee. This is quite monochromatic, which is not a bad thing. I can't recall seeing a red mousse with much contrast, so your SA may be correct.
Perhaps others will chime in on this.

Are you happy with the way it looks on you? That is the most important thing.

DLee, I tried on the fuschia version and am mulling it over because I have two other pink mousse lines and am trying to justify if I really need a third variation of pink. I agree with Monceau. Sometimes a monochromatic silk is lovely and often times more versatile than a busy patterned silk. If it does not sing to you when you try it on with your wardrobe then let it go back to store. I agree with your comment that the pattern is not as visible. Many of the dip dyes have the same effect and have deterred me from purchasing. The red is a very pretty red though, and would be lovely for Chinese New Year, holiday and valentines day.

Ok Ladies, totally agree with the above comments on the monochromatic nature of many of the PdV moussies. I was fortunate enough to get a look at quite a few of them at my boutique's holiday party and one came home with me. Not all are monochromatic and the colors in this cw are divine…at least in my opinion. I do not think the colors do it justice at all. And Lanit, my sister bought the fuchsia, it is sooooooo beautiful with the purple bits….you should consider it!

I was also blown away by this cw of guepards…it is not colors I would ordinarily be drawn to but they work, the grey and chartreuse with navy accents…I think it is perfect with my Orage B. So, without further ado….

PdV in cw 11, gris perle/violet/vert
