Your photo made my heart ache so much. I made a snag on my blanc corail one and can't find it anywhere anymore :rain:. Really really love your picture the other day of the sable azur cw, you pulled it off so well!

Beautiful moussies. Is the one on the extreme right the fuchsia cw? It is so lovely. Do you have more pics?
Thanks ayala_jessica. I alleviated the snag by a needle and massaging right the day I made the snag, so it reduced significantly, however there was a hole and the threads were snagged (cut off at one end), not loops. Unless I send it to re-weave, the more I use, the bigger the hole will get...Chestnutty I know how it feels but if that can alleviate your heart snags can be fixed even on mousses following the same method that dear Brit Abroad shared about cashmere shawls. I made a snag of about 5 inches on one of mine and used a very thin needle and a jeweler's loupe and succeeded to fix the whole snag. It was painstaking and took quite a long time but the result was really worth it !

I am so sorry to hear that Chestnutty( Did you check whether Hermes could fix the hole, as they should have the row material ?
Thanks sweethearts, my store is doing a global search for it, but I don't have much hope... But if the answer is no, I will send my shawl back to Paris and hope it is mendable.Chestnutty, we will all have to go on high "alert" to look for another moussie in the same CW. If we all look, at some point we should get lucky. I am sorry this occurred to you. I know how you love your "mice". best, bonnie
Çongratulations, Chestnutty! Your Bleus d'Afrique is heavenly! I have acquired 9 moussies since first collecting them in Mar. However, this cw is so pretty that I couldn't help getting it at the boutique the other day. I mostly get moussies for their coloring but this one is superb in both coloring & detail. Love it to bits! Some of you may know that I love stained glasses details on H scarves, so needless to say, Ors Bleus d'Afrique is a must-have for me. I haven't decided on which cw to order for 90cm yet, but when I came across and tried on this shawl at my store, I was sold! The coloration is so unique: a little bit of celery green at the border, a relaxing mint background, accents in kaki and lavender, and "stained" details in turquoise. Adorable!
Please excuse me for the big photo, but I'd like to show close-up how beautiful this mousse layers up and the turquoise "stain" near the lavender star. And yes, plenty of polka dots!

If you are to buy this mousse, please inspect carefully before buying. My friend and I both had to exchange our first for a perfect one. The first one I got had a thread defect, which looks like in the below listing but much longer and visible. This is really pretty Chestnutty! Would you have an open pic of the mousse?
