Just FYI, the caduceus, although it has come to be the symbol of the medical profession, has its origins in Greek mythology as the staff of Hermes!

So I think it's certainly appropriate for any of us who are fans of Hermes, or Greek mythology, and it has an extra meaning for those of us in medicine.

However, chacun a son gout!

True enough but as someone trained in the health sciences, the caduceus is just too in your face in the GM size. I do not want to walk around as a billboard for the AMA and I know my friends would ask me about it. The caduceus and the rod of asclepius are often confused.

It's OK. Clearly, it's not for everyone. So, don't buy it and leave it available for all others who are dying to get our hands on ours. Thanks.

I found some really beautiful scarves on shopbellarina.com. Very unique and super girly.

hi, this is the second post of yours i have read about this site. just an FYI since you are new, explicit advertising is not allowed. also this forum is for people who love and want to talk about hermes, not other scarves. if you want to talk about H, please and welcome!

TankerToad,

I tried this at my store today, and was pleasantly surprised by how complementary the colours are on this colourway. I tried on a few and brought this home.

It's so easy to wear over a white top or cream top for the pop of pastel-ly colours. And it's great for my tropical weather over here.

I can't help but wonder where I have been? How come I didn't know about this before!:noggin:

How wonderful mrssparkles~~
It is beautiful! And beautiful on YOU!
It was a surprise to me how wearable these are~
I keep reaching for mine again and again.
As I look at your earrings in your avitar, they echo the round shapes in the Mouss~
what a pretty combo that would be as well!
Subtle, elegant and FUN!
And all the prior discussion notwithstanding, this pattern feels iconic to me~
100% Hermes!

I love the Ex Libris print. I have it in twilly, glam scarf, shawl, cashmere stole and thinking of adding more (parachute scarf, pendant etc).

Katel, the RO mousseline in black is gorgeous!! The colours and the print are amazing! I feel like I'm on the ocean bed with all the colourful fish around me.
