I have a chevre Kelly, Bolide and all my small accessories are chevre - moto - FABULOUS SCORE! Congrats!
i love chevre! in fact i wanted to order a chevre kelly at the last podium, but they weren't accepting bag orders for that leather -- we had to do it as a special order, and even then it is a different chevre (the new one).
which is the long-winded way of saying that you were very lucky! and remember how you kept thinking back to the bag and the way it glowed? that's a chevre characteristic - it shines/glows/shimmers.

Gosh I feel so lucky....as a matter of fact dressage queen, the H boutique Manager tells me its a very special leather. Nevertheless, I feel great hearing it from you guys. As soon as box arrives (Tuesday) I'm sending pictures.

Many of you have said Chevre de Coromandel is light, do they still make larger bags in it (45...50cm birkins?)
Not generally, no. In fact it's hard to find anything larger than a 30cm Birkin or 32 HAC in Coromandel the last few years. Something about small goats.
and the largest that i have ever seen has been a SO 40 cm that the client apparently waited 5 years for (my manager called it the mutation goat)
same with the lizard they simply don´t grow that large anymore and believe me i so want a 32 kelly in it but basically since ever no chance

Seriously, they need to start feeding these goats more! Or giving them some growth hormones or something!
I would absolutely go gaga over a 35 Birkin in CdC, and would totally take a preowned one for obvious reasons, but they are sooooo hard to find!
I have seen several 32cm HACs in CdC at Hermes lately though, so are you sure a 32 Kelly is out of the question?
