Crazy how much more expensive it is here in Dallas! The Rouette and Bellechasse I got in Paris are 2000 eur and 1950 eur respectively. Also, I claimed tax refund so net is 2000 usd and 1950 usd.

It’s actually less of a difference now than prepandemic! Before the pandemic the goyard bags I bought in London and Paris were always about $700 USD less in the EU (after vat refund) than in the states.
It’s much better to buy in Europe if you can. I bought an Anjou in Paris in September 2022. I can’t remember the price in euros but the conversion at the time brought it to about $2050 USD. I got back $242 from VAT refund, so the bag basically cost $1800 USD. Had I bought it in the US, it would have been close to $3000. It is crazy!
My daughter just bought an Anjou yesterday in Paris. Came to $2199 US (saw on her cc—unsure what it was in Euros with vat (will see how much VAT she gets back)
I bought 2 bags and a wallet last week in Paris also. I got the beach bag for 1750 euros, the special edition anniversary St Louis GM in green for 2400 Euros with VAT (didn’t honestly know it was that much until I just looked at the receipt ) and the Matignon wallet for my other daughter for 1060 euros with VAT. The wallet was $1340 in US last she checked so she definitely saved some $.
I'm confused about the necessaire pouch... it doesn't seem complimentary based on the pricing I've seen but some are saying it is complimentary? I've seen with pouch, 1500 euro (Paris) and without pouch, 1350 euro (Paris) for St Louis PM. Am I missing something?

So I asked about the pouch in Paris and they said they don’t do the pouch anymore. And it was only beginning of year, but maybe the SA didn’t know what she was saying? This was at the Saint-honore store
Hmm it seems the pouch may have "moved" to London haha. But I actually don't really want it if I have to pay extra! Not worth 150 euros (or equivalent in GBP) to me.
