Am I missing something here? Is this bag worth this much? If so, I should be kicking myself because I am pretty sure I saw this bag at my outlet a long time ago. :p

Yes it's real python so it is worth that much retailed at $4500 I wana say. There was a purple and blue studded poppy version. That one was like $798 or $698.

I saw one of these on Ebay a while back NWT for like $5500. Needless to say it was there for months! Might even still be lol! Isn't real python illegal in some states or something like that?

This seller has sold multiples of a few Coach bags at very good prices. Thoughts?

Not even questionable- outright scam. Same bag sold 3 times in the last few hours?! 3 Diagonal Lindsey's sold in the last 2 days? All stock photos?

Avoid like the plague."

Has Coach and Fendi listings using only stock photos, NO record of selling highline handbags, and very conveniently packed all her impossibly low-priced listings together so that they all sold within two days of each other, meaning that no potential buyers would have a chance to see any bad FB that might be posted until it was much too late. And even though the seller had quite a few unsold dvds, now there are NO listings for that seller. The chance that she may be doing a runner are pretty good.

Ladies, there are people in these forums who can sometimes get crooked sellers taken down, but they need to know the seller's ID. Please post it! Auction URLs are worthless if the listing gets pulled.

Is there anyway to get this seller taken down since they're using all stock photos in their listings or does Coach have to report that?

It is illegal to sell or ship python to California, but it is okay for a Californian to buy python in another state and bring it home.

Coach has to report the stock photos since technically the trademark or copyright holder is the only one who can report rights violations. Even when one of us reports a fake, that fake still has to be validated by or at least filtered through the manufacturer's VeRO rep.

But I have a feeling the seller won't be doing much more listing. It's been 12 calendar days since the first of the "designer" bags were sold and no Feedback yet, which makes me thing that either the listings were a complete scam, or the items are supposedly being drop-shipped which is as good as saying they're fake. The Feedback should be interesting, if there ever IS any Feedback. JMO, of course.

Was in Dillard's last night and they had a TON of Coach sunnies marked down from 30% to 65% off. I picked up a pair of Sabrina sunnies in blue for $51, regular price $148. :yahoo: (Also got a pair of Marc Jacobs sunnies for $24.) The SA told me they had just done another big round of markdowns on sunglasses. Worth checking your local Dillard's!

Just an update - here's the first of what will probably be half a dozen Negatives:

Oh wow, I wonder how come eBay doesn't catch on to this kind of stuff. I wonder if the seller was able to make off with the money and eBay/PayPal will end up having to cover cost. Yikes.

Probably. Because technically until the first seller says she never received the bag and has proof that the seller never sent it, no rules were being broken that could be proved. So we couldn't even have reported them. Anyway, the seller had already wrapped up her scams and collected from her victims by that time. Between the Coaches and Fendis, the crook really made a nice little pile of dirty money.

It just proves what we keep saying - if someone has new and hard to find bags at crazy prices, something's wrong somewhere. I really hope all of her buyers used credit cards.
