This black leather Reed Krakoff bag is up for auction on the Shop Housing Works charity site. The current price is $203 and there is 1 day and 8 hours left in the auction.

RK is Coach's president and executive creative director and was named "designer of the year" not long ago.

That black leather Reed Krakoff bag that was up for auction went for $700!

Not sure if it is a big steal but classic duffle sac is half off at Nordstrom website now. Navy ran out so only tan left. I think it is a good price but this is a big bag. I tried it on at Macy's and I think my whole arm could disappear in there!

Looks like the cat key fob seller cancelled all bids and sold it to someone? I hope she realizes eBay now charges a fee if you cancel bids on an item to cancel a sale.

I'm glad ebay decided to start charging for that. The amount of people that think they should get a service for free disgusts me. Okay, off my soapbox.:p

I forget what they charge but it is to discourage people from starting an auction and using fixed price (or using auction and selling elsewhere) at the same time. I think it started October 1. I don't do it so I did not read the update. Mine are fixed price no matter where I list.

I was looking at an item, but I think shill bidding might be going on. Thoughts?

Here's the item link:

Here's the one particular bidder that has bid on this item and looks like all or most of the seller's other items.

Also some interesting negative feedback. The whole "I won this item and seller relisted" deal. I suppose if you can get a good price for the bag and the seller ends up actually shipping it out, it would be a good deal. :P

Yeah, some shady business going on... deserves reporting.

Can I suggest that when someone posts about this kind of questionable selling or bidding, that they please post the ID of the seller they're discussing?

Right now the listing has apparently been pulled and there was no link for the Feedback page either, so even if someone Searched for information on that seller, nothing would come up here at tPF. And there's no way for any of us to check that seller's future listings for shill bidding if we don't know their name. A link to the seller's listings or Feedback page would help too.

If someone spots something shady, post the information so we can do something about it. PLEASE.

Like this other seller being discussed here:

This seller has sold multiples of a few Coach bags at very good prices. Thoughts?

Not even questionable- outright scam. Same bag sold 3 times in the last few hours?! 3 Diagonal Lindsey's sold in the last 2 days? All stock photos?

Avoid like the plague."

Has Coach and Fendi listings using only stock photos, NO record of selling highline handbags, and very conveniently packed all her impossibly low-priced listings together so that they all sold within two days of each other, meaning that no potential buyers would have a chance to see any bad FB that might be posted until it was much too late. And even though the seller had quite a few unsold dvds, now there are NO listings for that seller. The chance that she may be doing a runner are pretty good.

Ladies, there are people in these forums who can sometimes get crooked sellers taken down, but they need to know the seller's ID. Please post it! Auction URLs are worthless if the listing gets pulled.

Not only was the listing pulled but I believe the seller was suspended.

The reason I didn't post the seller ID was because I was worried that I might get in trouble since I wasn't sure if the seller was shill bidding or not. I thought I had read somewhere that we couldn't post a seller ID when it came to something like this because it was somehow targeting them? Perhaps I misunderstood that. Any who, I managed to save the seller's profile page link for just in case. Hopefully this isn't worthless info ;)

I can appreciate that, especially after the recent nightmare that a well-respected poster here went through because of a contemptible seller who thinks the Rules, both the ones stated in a site's TOS and the ones that are just based on basic morals, don't apply to her.

When that's a concern, I'd suggest just posting the URL for the seller's Ebay Feedback page or the link to their current auction pages. That way the others here can take a good look at the seller's record, but without any way for the post to come up in a Search of the seller's ID. Then if the posters here think there's a proveable problem with the seller's listings or selling or bidding practices, they can decide if others should be warned and if the seller should be reported to Ebay.

I'm glad to see they NARU'd the seller posted about earlier. Just reading her negative FB would have me scrambling for the Back button.

Am I missing something here? Is this bag worth this much? If so, I should be kicking myself because I am pretty sure I saw this bag at my outlet a long time ago. :p

Yes it's real python so it is worth that much retailed at $4500 I wana say. There was a purple and blue studded poppy version. That one was like $798 or $698.
