Just scored a mint black Rambler J0C-9061 on ebay for $40.95 incl. S&H! And by mint I mean leather has sheen, interior suede still fluffy, brass hardware shining, has hangtag, no scratches or scuffs. There were plenty of pics. Seller has 100% rating and appears, from pic and a few Dooneys she's selling, to be an older lady cleaning out her closet. First truly vintage Coach for me. How'd I do? Be honest.

You did great! Coach still sells the Rambler's Legacy for $258!

What color did you get? Here are pics from the Coach website of the black with both silver and gold hardware.

Holy Moly, katev, I didn't even think to check to see if it was one that Coach still sells today! Mine is black with the gold hardware, which looks a little more classic Coach, I think. Now I'm even more excited to get it!

In fact, I just looked at the website myself and there is a NEW LEGACY ARCHIVAL RAMBLER for $348!!! I just need a couple of tassels to play it off as that one.:happydance:

Congratulations, it's a great bag! I looked for drill-down pics and they had 3 of the brown/gold but none of the black/gold bags. Here is a pic of the black and silver version.

At the link below are before and after pics of a black/silver rambler that I rehabbed. It was cheaper that your bag but also much more used and really needed some TLC. I gave it to my girlfriend and she loves it and uses it often!

Your rehab looks awesome! I'm on the hunt for one of these myself!

I thought I made my post but I must have done something wrong cause it didn't show up, hope I don't end up with a double one, lol.

I'm so excited! I just bought my first 2 Coach bags. Check it out: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/261086772983

I'm pretty sure the chocolate brown one is real because Hyacinth authenticated one exactly like it on another listing for me but the bidding on it is up to $212.00 already so I decided to take a chance on this one. I know the other one was in better condition but I think with a little TLC this one will be ok and I'm hoping the vintage bag here is authentic as well. 2 for less than the price of 1.

I'd like to bath, reshape and condition them when they get here so they will be nice and clean and fresh and "new" to me. What do you girls think? Should I or should'nt I? I've never done it before and the thought of putting a leather bag in a sink full of water scares the life out of me. Can any of you give me some pointers, recommendations? Some of the bags you girls have rehabbed look absolutely awesome!

thanks in advance for any help you can give me
I can't Wait!!

Ps. Can anyone identify them for me?

Not sure how I missed your reveal, but it looks awesome! And what a cute bag! Love the shape! Great work!!

Anyone familiar with this seller?

Two of these have sold and now they just listed another one...all the same bag. I know it's possible to have multiples, but I'm really wondering about this one.

I would ask the seller what happened with the first two buyers, just to get a feel of the seller. If they come up with some off the wall answer then you know something fishy is going on.

No personal experience with the seller, but looks like the only seller feedback they have is a negative as well (even if it's old). Toolhaus.org also mentions him/her as a non-paying buyer many times back in '04. I would still be careful.

These look fine to me. I don't know how much rehabbing they are going to need. The newer one is designed to look vintage. I have a bag from this line. It is the type of leather that you use your finger to rub out the marks. The vintage one looks to be in great shape other than some wear on the edges.

Personally I wouldn't bathe either of them unless they need reshaping. All you need is some leather cleaner and conditioner. You could use Blackrock on the worn corners. You can pull the lining out of the newer one and clean that if necessary.

Sorry I don't know the names of either of them.
