This seems to be a common defect. Coach fixed mine for free so I just wanted to bring it to others' attention who might like the bag - if you find a good deal you should be able to get the repair done.

I just posted this auction on the no chat thread! And the one bid is mine i just wasn't sure if i wanted it or not. I did ask if the hangtag was included but that's all i asked. Another pic looks like both turnlocks are there but if not it's a great deal. Thanks for posting the tip about getting it fixed-i will keep that in mind. There was another auction i saw that was missing the turnlocks for sure.

I just won that auction! I was going to send you a thank you PM for posting it. I hope that the turnlock is still there--if not, should I just bring it to a coach store and see if they can repair it? I normally bring all my bags to my local cobbler who is a MIRACLE worker, but I've never had him repair hardware before.

You're welcome! Right after the auction ended the bag i have been DYING to find got posted! I'm sure Coach could help you out. I had a mia convertible i bought off Ebay that actually had the stitching come loose TWICE and Coach was great. They sent it out free of shipping both times and it was repaired. Just don't tell them you bought it off Ebay. I said mine was a gift.

If the turnlock IS missing (or really loose) you should speak to the seller, it should have been disclosed in the description. In the auction I won, the seller gave me a partial refund and that more than paid for my gas to go to the Coach store and seek the repair. The SA waived the shipping charge, too - this is obviously a common defect with that hardware.

BTW - I doubt your cobbler could replace this, it's not a real turnlock, it's only decorative and a special type.

It's a lovely soft smooshy bag. Mine is still in the US waiting to come to Mama but I should have it soon!

How would this seller get a whole box of these boxes? They have several listings, all different sizes. I know it's against ebay's policy to sell the empty Coach boxes, but I was just wondering where they would even get them. Does Coach give them to employees maybe? Oh, and why would someone pay this much for an empty box?! I guess maybe a counterfeiter would, assuming the boxes are even real. Just wondering.

Don't FP stores give you extra boxes/tissue paper if you ask for them?

These are factory boxes. I don't know if they still do, but when I used to shop Factory, they would give you as many boxes and as much tissue paper as you wanted. I have a bunch of boxes.

Did they change the factory boxes? They used to be the white and red. Those look like the FP boxes and she's talking about gold ribbon to go with them like the boutique stores.
