What's is it to you? How is this affecting you, if I posted 9 times in July. You are always starting something.

Nine times in July, as well as five times in the last ten days - and always recommending the same seller? Crikey.

The tale gets better and better. And the smell of fish gets stronger.

Not just one seller but many similar sellers. Let's be honest here folks, a lot of TPF'rs recommend other TPF'rs auctions. Last time I stepped in and stated something all I got was a load of heated responses from other members telling me to bugger off... glad to see that it doesn't look like people fired back at you for stating the same thing.

Pardon my negativity, but when the same seller there keeps getting recommended by the same poster here, it smells like week-old fish.

No, that poster has posted deals for the same seller (both her Bonanza ID and the ebay ID) - (different IDs on both sites) at least 9 times since July. Whether they're the same person or friends (both being from NY), I have to agree with Hyacinth that it's fishy.

Before you start jumping to conclusion, ask questions first. I am not from NY. There is absolutely not fishy about it. I watch this seller booth and when she list something, I will post it in the deal section thinking its a item other member would like.

I also watch her booth and will post items that she list sometimes.

It if bothers you so much, maybe you should stay out of the Deal Thread.

I suggest the mods handle this "friends posting for friends business" or whatever in private PM's and members quit the accusations back and forth. I'm sure they can remove suspicious postings if they wish too. I do respect everyone's right to their opinion on this issue but it takes the fun out of participating in the Coach forum. I did notice that the mod's previous post wondering if a particular member was posting her own auctions was removed and was glad to see that. The issue should have been addressed privately in the first place. If this is becoming a problem in the Deals thread then maybe it should be scrapped altogether. I would hate to see that happen but the Internet has made our big world a smaller place and anyone can be accused of posting a friend's auctions regardless of where they may live.

I completely agree!

My personal thoughts are to let the thread die. It's too time consuming to track down reports of "so and so" doing something not allowed. We didn't use to have so many TPF'rs selling items, so often times what we were seeing deals posted on were unique. I think since the economy hasn't really gotten 100% back on it's feet it could also be stemming from people trying to get some cash for other purchases.

Either way, if we can't 100% prevent from the abuse, then we obviously don't deserve to have it at all. It only takes a few to ruin it for the rest. I think it's time to put this one to bed and end the discussions permanently.

Double agree with Paula3boys and Giagnm - let the mods handle any potential rules violations.

There are too many people here who climb atop their high horses and get downright malicious. Giving an opinion is one thing, especially when it's constructive, but being opinionated is totally different. That is why I backed off of TPF: fear of being verbally berated if my point of view was out of alignment with someone else's. All the fun is taken out of my "love for handbags" hobby and it's just not worth the worry. There are more important causes for me to take up.

Has anyone noticed that bay listing where they are selling the $50 Coach gift card and in the photo there's like stacks of the cards in the picture?

How would someone get a hold of so many of those cards?
