And 12 have already been sold!

Seriously? And she sold this Prada for $3 (with free shipping):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PRADA-BLACK-LEATHER-FLAP-Pocket-SILVER-NERO-LOGO-BLACK-BAG-Nylon-PURSE-/162153905252?hash=item25c1203c64:g:HoQAAOSwnQhXnZox&nma=true&si=HYccTfWv5OQJb%2BZqMZgbBqlf9VE%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

ETA: I suspect a hijacked account.

In fact, here's a cache (and photo) of another identical listing (since removed) from a different seller - notice the description text, font and format:

Now it says more than 14 have been sold and still 10 left. New with tags? What the heck?!

Figuring I had nothing to loose with eBay buyer protection, I ordered one. I just received the following.

You were recently involved in a transaction for the following item:
162153895789 - COACH Edie LEATHER PURSE Pebbled Brown Shoulder BAG

We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have accessed the seller’s account to list this item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled. We ask that you take the following precautions:

- If you already paid for the item, you may be protected by eBay. Open a request with the Resolution Center and choose, "I bought an item. I haven't received it yet." You can access the Resolution Center by visiting:
http://resolutioncenter.ebay.com

- If the transaction doesn't qualify for eBay’s protection, please immediately contact the payment service used to request a refund.

- If you haven't paid for your item, consider this transaction canceled and do not send payment.

In this situation, your account wasn't accessed by the third party involved. At eBay, we take a number of steps to help ensure the security of your account. Learn more about protecting your account at:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/protecting.html

Thanks,

eBay

Please don't reply to this message. It was sent from an address that doesn't accept incoming email.

So I did what they said, I went to the resolution center and requested a refund. I have to wait 4 days before getting eBay/PayPal involved. When momma told me "If it seems too good to be true, it usually is", she was right!

Yup, just as suspected.

The problem (with reference to the part in red) is that if you paid, you now have to wait until the expected delivery date has passed before you can open a case. You can't open a case yet.

Of course you'll win but still......

I was able to open a case right away but I will have to wait 4 business days to ask eBay to step in. Assuming that the 'seller' doesn't refund me in the meantime.

The above seller was mistercmills (205).

And here's another. I think this is the listing that was stolen. (This seller is the owner of the pictures because her other listings have the same backgrounds and listing style.)

It looks like it is happening again! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Isabe...731945?hash=item4d48bb8a29:g:P9AAAOSwZVlXqCAb
Isabelles for $29.09. I'd report it if I knew what I could report it for.

I don't know whether this is the same seller you found but it's a hijacked account. This account hasn't been used in over a year:
simoneissa (362) - http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=simoneissa&ftab=AllFeedback
No it wasn't. I don't remember the seller's name. The feedback was around 150 and it looked like it had been used for buying mostly. There was one purchase feedback within the last 6 months. It was for electronics. There is no doubt the account was hijacked. I wonder if ebay has an automated system to flag listings like this since it was removed pretty fast.
