Thanks everyone:hugs:
I received an email from paypal this morning saying that my payment was refused by the seller, so the refunding process is working:p. other than once to the seller, I haven't responded to any emails, just saving them all.
I made myself feel better at the online Kate Spade sale (extra 25% off sale items with code setsail), but used my amex this time!
Glad it worked out well for you !
I love a happy ending :)

Does anyone else think Coach copied the fake bag for this style?

They've never been above "borrowing" other companies' styles and ideas, so why not steal from the counterfeiters? It's not as if the crooks are going to sue Coach for copyright infringement!

Remember these? The 2 fakes with the fake boxes from the same crooked seller were saved to my photo files in 2008. 93009_TRAVELS MULTI MIX KEY RING-Dillards.jpg texasthreestar_2008-2010.jpg texasthreestar_150247249515-b.jpg

Then, in 2011, Coach came up with this "charming" design - 93009 Travels Multi Mix Key Ring- first thumbnail. Hey, why hire expensive jewelry designers when the crooks have already done their work for you? :graucho:

LOL! I forgot about the travel keychain that Coach copied.

And then there's this post where it was stated that "never will you see mickey mouse, hello kitty, etc etc on keychains."

and this which was accurate at the time - "Coach has NEVER made Hello Kitty or other character keychains.":

I laughed when I read Hyacinth's last comments in this post:

"None of these geniuses selling fake "Coach" Hello Kitty, Disney, and other items trademarked by other huge corporations have ever taken the time to explain why companies like Sanrio, Disney, etc need to have Coach make their keychains when the huge number of GENUINE keychains for sale from those big companies prove that they're completely capable of making them on their own - and of keeping ALL the profits instead of having to split them with Coach."

I guess the old saying, "if you can't beat 'em, you might as well join them" applies here.

Yep, and so does the other old saying, "Money talks".

What REALLY surprised me about the recent collaborations with Disney and Peanuts was the fact that Coach wasn't even given an Exclusive, but the differences in pricing and markets between the 2 companies could explain that. LeSportsac has been making items with the same sets of characters at the same time, but with less expensive materials and details. I LOVE my LS Deluxe Everyday Bag with Snoopy, Woodstock and daisies - what could be better? And for less than a hundred dollars! :hbeat:

I can see the Peanuts items being released as widely as possible to go along with last year's movie release, but DISNEY? Since when have they ever needed help making money off of Mickey and Minnie? I wonder what their total grosses are from the sale of items with those 2 characters just from what they sell at the D-lands and D-Worlds?
