This seller has some AMAZING vintage bags. I'm not affiliated in any way, I just stumbled on her listings. Where do you suppose she gets them?

She probably has time to scour ebay and maybe yard sales and the like. Probably willing to take chances on poor listings too.

She is also located in Hawaii. Hawaii is full of wealthy retirees who probably brought their Coach bags with them when they moved. My theory is she either hits estate sales or has relationships with the people who run the sales. If you do a search on eBay for "coach vintage" within 150 miles of Honolulu, you get 107 listings. 75 of them are from Seller littlemissmuffet808. Of the remaining 37, 13 of those are from seller alohahawaii03, so littlemissmuffet808 seems to have a lock on vintage bags in that area. Given the shipping costs back and forth to Hawaii, I think it would be tough to make any margin trying to flip listings given the competition for really unusual vintage Coach bags on eBay.

I know that there has been discussion on the Authenticate This Coach thread about the very unusual bags she is able to find. I've bought a couple of things from her and recommend her as a seller.

As many other resellers do, she also uses a buying ID to find poorly listed or otherwise good deals. (Sorry, I won't "out" her buying ID.)

There's no need for 'sorry' as I never asked nor expected anyone to 'out' anything about her.

If she's smart/savvy enough to eek out a profit doing what she's doing, I say more power to her!! In looking at her feedback, it appears that her buyers are very happy.

I am just in awe of her inventory. I've never seen such a vast array of vintage bags, and not just vintage, but STUNNING vintage bags. It seems to me that it would take at least a lifetime to gather the volume and variety of items she's got for sale.

I didn't dig deep enough to realize that she's in Hawaii. Now that I know that, I'm even more impressed. Her shipping charges are more than reasonable considering her location! I've got my eye on 2 of her listings that I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to resist much longer!

Geez! $103 for a fob? Maybe to get rich on reselling Coach, one should buy out all the hot fobs, then release them on evilbay one by one. Relatively cheaper than bags, don't take much room at all, and cheap to ship.

I think a few sellers have already figured that out! :D

(If you take the risk of waiting for a PCE to buy them, your profits are even better. And NO, I'm not one of those sellers, unfortunately for my bank account!)

Nearly every fob I paid FP or PCE for has made it to the outlets or they made an outlet version that was identical to the original. I think the only older fob I have that never made it to the outlets is the ice skates and I love it too much to sell. Oh, and maybe Tony Duquette but I got that one on ebay for a little less than PCE price.

I had the same problem.
