A line from which I had a few beautiful clutch-wallets, rectangular feature on the front of the bag, lined with leather, they are somewhat heavy though … I believe it was called cherche midi (in french jargon - making things more complicated) and they are complicated designs with plenty of zippers and compartments

I didn't check out the clutch, was referring to the green one houseof999 posted. I'm not too familiar with the Cherche line, but the ones I could like all have stingray. Meh.

Also is it normal for corners to darken from use instead of lighten? All of the brown bags I have seen have whiteish corners from use…the corners on this just look odd lol

Yeah. Every one I've seen has had stingray on the flap above the buckle. Except this clutch in a style I'd never seen. I had to zoom in and surprised to see it didn't have stingray.
Definitely not Mogano. Looks like Cafe. The corner darkening is not unusual. The whitened corners usually mean the leather's been rubbed to wear off the color. This one could just have picked up dirt or been handled to darken, without the leather rubbing off.
