Could be bordeaux too. I can never tell with the zero lighting in TRR photos. this looks pretty blue-berry red to me, but others look brownish as you say.The corners...

I saw this earlier and thought Bordeaux at first, but looking at it closer, I think its a heavily used/worn/dirty RT
The front “plate” & laces look too red to be Bordeaux
Sometimes cards can get mixed up, especially if the seller has a bunch of bags.
However, the bag that tag belongs to would be desirable- S/S 2003 First- and it loses some value if it is missing some of its documentation.
