Caution to my Bal friends. I just received my Large Rodeo purchase. Haven't posted it here, because TBH I'm still ruminating whether I love it as much as the price I paid for it. Regardless, I scoured it to look for details to help us authenticate Rodeo bags here. I could not for the life of me find a serial number/season code imprint anywhere, but it was night time on a black bag so I will keep looking.

Meanwhile, one detail I noted was the back screw of this metal plate. It was definitely NOT a standard Philips head screw. I'm not posting this in the fake Bals thread because I only have one reference point. Other Rodeo owners please check your bags for this detail and weigh in on this. For now based on my limited information, the hardware on this bag does not match with what I have and could be fake.

Did you check along the seams? Can anyone who has a Rodeo chime in?

Don't have a Rodeo, but just saw this photo on this listing...

Unsure, but maybe that's on the inside pocket? Or maybe that one is just fake and they put a fake number to look more legitimate? No idea!

Thank you! I did look inside the pocket last night, but I didn't pull it out like this. I'll try again. This was very helpful. The serial number on this bag is correct for a small Rodeo.
