i know it! unfortunately with this one she’s sticking to $650 + $58 for shipping and then there’s tax on top of that so almost $800 when said and done.😩 it’s a super pretty bag but the price feels inflated to me especially since there’s no mirror. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel you about shipping, import plus tax. We have absolutely no customs cut-off here. A seemingly great deal ends up being anything but! Been there, done that and will most likely do it again. :lecture:
The addiction is real, lol!

no kidding! i’ve been sitting here trying to rationalize the total cost. also i can’t find the ebay discount anymore — a few days ago it was showing up within the listings but it’s disappeared so maybe the deal is over :( ok back to staring at this bag and deciding whether i want to spend a small fortune 😂

I know this kind of sounds insane but , I kind of want a Balenciaga to bring to school, just a 13 inch laptop and a few pens and a notebook. What do you guys think is the best bag? Any experience? Do you think a laptop is too heavy for the bag?

I carry a 12" width laptop and notebook in my Bal bags almost daily. My preferred styles are City and Day, as they are both perfect for the laptop. The Day would probably accommodate a 13" better. My laptop easily fits the City, but I don't know if it's just as easy for a 13". Work would also be great, if you don't mind carrying the bag by hand. The Velo is harder for a laptop to get in and out of.

A laptop is definitely not too heavy, unless you're really trying to avoid a slouchy bag. In which case you should go for a more structured/stiff leather. Those soften over time too, though not as much.
