I don't understand why he would pay for sex. Many women would jump at the chance to sleep with him just because he is a rich, famous actor. It just seems like you're desperate if you need to pay somebody to sleep with you.

Charlie Sheen reeks of low self esteem. I think he pays for sex because it's efficient and he doesn't have to deal with emotional baggage. In a sense prostitution is a more clearcut transaction than having to deal with someone fanning over you.... plus they'd probably be more willing to accommodate unusual requests... if you know what I'm saying.

I'm not sure it's low self-esteem, maybe more selfishness and a lack of empathy for other people. He didn't want to be bothered forming relationships with individual women because all he wanted from them was sex. With hookers you don't have to think about their feelings or needs. You don't even have to talk to them. Charlie only cares about Charlie!

There's such a thing as having too much self-esteem as well and it can be just as destructive. He projects his own magnificence because he genuinely believes it. Kanye West is another one.

Exactly it's simpler with prostitutes and the one paying also has more power vs sex with no money involved. Generally speaking someone being paid is also more discrete. It took this long for the secret to come out because most of the women he slept with keep secrets for a living. If it were all groupies it would be like those athletes who sleep with women who then post selfies of themselves with the guy asleep in the background. Most of the prostitutes aren't sleeping with Charlie for fame and attention like "regular" girls do.

If they willingly had sex with Charlie it was at their own risk.... Should he have disclosed HELL YEAH- but more importantly these women should have protected themselves. Our body is our temple.....
