Ok. I thought I missed something. I don't know how anyone can know what his rings mean.
Exactly nothing happened. That's why I'm as confused as you are why we talk about his rings for almost a week now.

How Charlie came to wear "That Ring"
Ok, I confess. Charlie is wearing ("that ring") gold band on his left hand because I asked him to.
Yes, in a fit of unbridled passion (and a little help from a glass of White Zin) I was bold enough to ask him to wear it in honor of not only me but all the fans who want to mean something to him.
You see I ran into Charlie at a "We Luv Charlie and Don't Care Who Knows It Rally." (Not to be confused with Comic Con.) After chatting him up and expressing my never ending love and devotion for him I got down on one knee, looked up into his handsome face and presented him with "the ring."
"Will you wear this ring for me and your fans as a symbol of our never ending love and lust for you? Would you Charlie," I asked with tears in my eyes. Charlie looked down upon me and gave me that megawatt smile of his (you know the one.) His beautiful blue eyes twinkled at me and as he gave me a wink and helped me to my feet (my knee was getting a little sore) he said in that low, throaty, sexy Jax Tellor voice. "I promise, (Doesn't he say that a lot on 'Sons of Anarchy?) my faithful fan."
And that is how Charlie Hunnam came to wear "that gold ring" on his left hand. A promise ring for all his fans.
*(Now don't go repeating this or his fans will have him wearing rings on all his fingers and possibly his toes.)
(Disclaimer) Why? Cuz you know someone will read this and think it is true, it will end up on other sites and then Charlie will be calling me and I'll have to explain. (I hate when he does that to me.) What do you mean he doesn't?

Kind of surprises me if "Haunted Peak" is suppose to take place in the early 1900's. Beards were prevalent at that time. Cheer up! Shouldn't take to long to grow those whiskers in.

Ok, ladies. This maybe something we have to come to terms with in the future. SOA is going to end (terrible thought) this year. So the bigger question is: Does CH still wear his hair long + his beard or does he shorten his hair and loose the beard? What do you think?
Eeek! But if I recall Pacific Rim filmed of 2011 until April 2012, so Charlie Hunnam had time to let his hair grow back before they started shooting season 6 of SoA... remember Comic Con 2012, it grew back already. So hopefully they might work something out eh...
Prediction: He will wear his hair and beard as in Pacific Rim - less trouble. Of course he will have to grow it out occasionally for role he is playing.

Personally I liked the way he looked in 'Frankie Goes Boom" and "Pacific Rim". Shorter hair and no beard. Really didn't care for the way ultra short hair he had for the beginning of SAO S4. A little scruff on the face isn't a bad look on him either.
