I've been Netflixing Sons of Anarchy for the past two weeks and I'm at season six. I can't believed Hunnam is the same actor from Pacific Rim-- the only other place I've seen him. He was horrible in that movie and I thought he was Australian due to his numerous accent slip-ups in the movie. I also hated his douchey walk. He does a much better job as Jax in SOA and I can now see some of his appeal. He has a rather unfortunate resemblance to Spencer from The Hills which watching SOA has helped me get over.
I'm curious about his height. He's listed as 6"1' but he looks short to me and a lot of the other actors on SOA seem to tower over him. Are they just really tall or is he fudging a few inches on the height?

Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Michael K from Dlisted used to joke about Spencer's creepy "flesh colored beard" and that's all I could think of when I would see Jax with his scruff.
Wow I finished SOA and I now get his appeal. He has so much swagger as Jax and looks much better in motion than in still photographs. His profile is flawless. That said I don't think he was right for the Christian Grey role. I'm glad, for his sake, that he dropped out because it looks like it's going to be a trainwreck.
