in her case, being an actress and young, I would think she would go back to her maiden name. But I have a friend who kept her ex-husbands's name long after the divorce. And when she eventually remarried, she used that name plus the new husband's.

Agree. I kept my ex-husband’s last name (until I remarried). It was the last name I’d used for 17 years and the last name of my three children, so it would have felt weird to change it back to what it was nearly two decades earlier.
