Has anyone here had the op to change their eye colour?

Just wanted to hear about your experiences as been thinking about doing it myself.

Also interested in your opinions about changing eye colour, mine are brown and I want to change them to green.

The eye is so delicate I refuse to have lasik so I can't imagine letting someone change my eye color, or what the process involves.
Definitely look into colored contacts first.

it doesn't look that great. it looks like cheap contacts too me. this is fromsomeone that had contacts for years.

I'd wait until they improve it. I would just want to lighten my eye color about two shades. Mine our brown.

Wow that's cool, I never knew they could do that. I have a little brown spot on one eye (I have blue eyes) and it is actually growing (but I love it, it's so unique)
but maybe in a couple of years I will have one blue and one brown eye, so I might change the brown one back to blue again!
Nice to know that is an option

I would never ever do anything like this.

Your eyes are the only two you've got. God forbid if anything goes wrong during the surgery or even afterwards... if you lose your sight, that's it. Done. Finito.

There is so much to worry about with eyesight already - glaucoma, loss of vision as you get older and I refuse to do anything that isn't medically necessary to them that might possibly cause problems down the road.

The same goes for that eyelash-growing eye drop.

Not only that, but it's a lot like carrying a fake designer bag. It's not the real thing, so why are you going to put something out there and pretend like it is?

Contacts are one thing, because you can take them out, but this is a little overboard.

Some glaucoma treatments can change eye color but that's all I knew about until now.

Yeah, I would try colored contacts first.

ETA: holy goodness, that coloriris surgery cost $10K!

I am weary of anyting that involves the eye area. I would be too afraid of complications that would lead to permanent damage to my vision. In some ways, I feel there is still something of a societal taboo against any type of eye modification, because sight is gift that should never be taken for granted.
I didn't know there was even such a procedure in existence. I saw a man on television who had the whites of his eyes tattooed black, and I thought that was a bit scary.

F*** NO! This is just taking something a little to far. Wear colored contacts or just be happy with what you have!

Jeez sorry but you only have two eyes, NO WAY would I allowed someone to CUT my eye open and put some foreign object in. NOOOO nono
