Chanel vintage bag has NO hologram?

It could have been a mistake. I saw a bag in NM that did not have a hologram sticker, but came with cert. card. It was definitely the real deal. It is possible the one you bought is authentic, but during manufacturing it was accidentally missed.

I know Im a bit late on this thread..lol.. sorry, but I purchased a vinatge chanel mini lambskin, and it looks and feels 1000% authentic, from the leather, tot the stiching and down to the heavy hardware that is marked with Chanel. I purchased several authentic pieces from the same guy, almost al had the stickers and labels, dustbags and boxes, but this particular one has not "chanel" stamp on the inside! It looks and feels as real as it can be though. Did some vintage minis NOT have a "chanel" stamped on the inside? could this be possible?

A couple years late, but sometimes people have the bags dyed, the CHANEL gets covered/removed in the process (not good for resale, but it happens). It rarely rubs off. I have a really old CHANEL wallet and you can barely see the CHANEL stamp on it. Chanel started putting serial numbers in bags in 1986. The 0 and 1 series were just plain stickers with numbers. Starting with the 3 series there were CC's on the stickers. I have only seen vintage Chanel bags made in France and Italy. Pre-1986 bags don't have authenticity cards either.

Hi..the proper place for asking authenticity questions about a specific ebay/bonanza/etc auction is in the "authenticate this" thread in the chanel shopping forum . If you bought the bag you can always repost the link in that thread and someone there might be able to tell you about authenticity. BTW, that white sticker is the 'hologram'-vintage bags have different holograms than today. Hope that helps!

Question I purchased this cute small quilted bucket black chanel handbag . The hard wear is heavy seems and looks real ..only thing that's bothering me is it has no chanel stamp inside or sticker don't know if it's due to age and the inside was re done and that is the reason for no label in the inside I would lobe some help from someone who knows about chanel i will try to upload pictures
