My understanding is also that Chanel bags are made in France and Italy. I've never heard of Spain.

I though they started putting on the holograms in 1985? my bag was made late70s, early 80s and does not have a hologram. Its small, black quilted and has a tassel. But unlike most of the small quilted bags its black inside, the chain is gold. It closes with a magnetic button.
Im sure its authentic. It belonged to the mother of a friend who was very wealthy and would never have bought a fake. I had the authenticity confirmed by several people who know Chanel bags very well.
Oh i just looked at the zipper. Its strange... i can see sort of a little sign on it. Its faded but it sorts of looks like a 3 or 4 leaved clover. Does anybody know what that is?
Hi! I have a few authentic vintage chanels, and YES they have a swirly three on the zippers!
Hi. I think this is a red flag. From what I know, the color of the hardware should be the same color of the stamp.Hi everyone im sorry to post this here but just a quick question for anyone that knows
I just recently bough a 1994-1998
Chanel Jumbo Caviar Silver hardware,
and this Chanel and made in france stamps are a fading gold color, the made in france is almost completely faded is this a red flag?
I have read that if its silver hardware it must be silver stamping.
