Chanel Tweed/Fabric Bags

Hi everyone! Hope all is well.

Any opinions or experiences with Chanel tweed/fabric bags? I am going back and worth with this seasons houndstooth black and white tweed bag but I’m a bit hesitant. I guess a bit afraid of fabric holding smells? & the white.

Would appreciate any stories/opinions!!

I got a tweed medium 19 in February. I have worn it a handful of times mainly crossbody. Even after the first time wearing it I noticed pilling in the back already. I live in a smoke-free home and do not use perfume so I can’t speak to the part about fabric holding scent.
I still love my tweed despite the pilling issue. I figured when it pills more I can take a fabric shaver to it. Also maybe because of the black/navy color and the heavy tweed fabric I feel like it’s more of a cold weather bag. Hope that helps.

I love the idea of a tweed bag espcially a Chanel tweed. But my concern would definitely be the pilling.

I have a small tweed 19 and love it, however I can see how it would be cumbersome to take care of in larger sizes.

I have a tweed 19 WOC and I'm not too worried about it. I think you just need to be careful about what you wear so it doesn't pull.

I'm thinking of getting the 19 in corduroy - anyone have any pros/cons/stories about Chanel corduroy?

I was thinking of adding a jersey or tweed mini to my collection. How do you all clean the bag if it gets dirty?
