I think it’s a great “lipstick red” and not too orange but you will see that against warm backdrops that create more yellow on the photo, it does look that way. I took some photos that showcase it against different red hues, which informs the way it appears in my opinion. All photos taken by the window around 3pm.

Lipsticks shown are Rouge Dior 999 and Le Lion de Chanel 277 Rouge Fauve. It’s not as classic cherry red as my Ferragamo Vara shoes but not as neon as my 18C cardholder. Personally, I felt it most closely matched the toile de juoy teacup. I tried to neutralize the photos by using white balance on all to get it true to life. It’s a really lovely red this season if you are looking to add red to your collection :heart:

Congratulations to @Israeli_Flava on getting your red cf. Mine also came today. Pic below is from my sa. Looking pretty good there I think. One funny thing though, I got the email receipt and after quickly glanced over, I saw that it said 19B on my receipt. Color code is the current red though, the chip code of the bag is also on there. It’s funny because I did read a thread on here that it happened to some ppl as well. If I remember it correctly someone on the thread said her sa explained to her it happened due to the sa manually entered the code instead of scanning it? I have no clue :confused1: . Yay it finally came!! INSPECT THE HINDGES!!! Just kidding :lol: ok maybe half kidding lol. Anyways, what's the deal with old style codes again? Is the suspicion about whether Chanel buys old bags to sell? Sorry I can't remember what was discussed :doh: This bag looks so nice and shiny though!
