Hello lovely people! I took a few photos today of the red lambskin mini as many were curious how it truly looks. In my opinion, it is rather neutral if not slightly blue undertone. I think it’s a great “lipstick red” and not too orange but you will see that against warm backdrops that create more yellow on the photo, it does look that way. I took some photos that showcase it against different red hues, which informs the way it appears in my opinion. All photos taken by the window around 3pm.
Lipsticks shown are Rouge Dior 999 and Le Lion de Chanel 277 Rouge Fauve. It’s not as classic cherry red as my Ferragamo Vara shoes but not as neon as my 18C cardholder. Personally, I felt it most closely matched the toile de juoy teacup. I tried to neutralize the photos by using white balance on all to get it true to life. It’s a really lovely red this season if you are looking to add red to your collection

Thanks so much for the help you gave!! You know I've been looking and it honestly felt unreal I actually got one, especially so late to the reserve game.
I believe I saw both, but at separate boutiques. Mediums at the SA (Soho & 57th street) and a small at the Bloomies location. I didn't not ask if the boutiques had a small available in the closet though. I saw a girl try on the small in Bloomies.
