Once this bag fell into my kung-fu grip the only way i was letting go of it was to give it back to my SA to wrap it in a box with a bow. I'm not worried about colour transfer because i will never wear this cross body unless im wearing white. I love the look of carrying this bag top handle with the thin sparkly chain dangling like jewelry. That being said... if the wrinkle on the bag is going to keep you up at night, or you are still second guessing whether to keep or not in a day or two return it.

The bags are handmade and if the OCD people (I’m one of them!!) wanted to find little or microscopic “imperfections” we could - I guess it would be inevitable even to some degree since they’re all handmade. Even with Hermes. Also, the bags are made from leather and lamb is soft and delicate by nature. The colors and skin, as well as the finish dictate a lot of how the bag turns out. I think many people are so used to the look of the rigid classic caviar that every bag is compared to that. Chanel loves to use delicate leather and with that comes “wrinkles.” I’ve seen smooth, soft Hermes bags have these as well. I’m VERY OCD and I think returning the bag over that one teeny wrinkle is extreme. BUT if it’ll make you crazy don’t keep it.

I think we all know all leather age, and I can see some people wanting to age with the leather in their care, not get a handbag already with wrinkles. That having said, that piece is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm not OCD at all, so I'd take it :biggrin:

I have not seen a pic of the light pink flap at ALL in ANY country so I don’t think they’ve been shipped out yet anywhere! I’m reserved for one and so are 2 of my friends and none of us have heard anything (all different SAs and stores). I also stalk social media and there have been no sightings yet at all. I think at least the pink ones are just very late!

I am still waiting for both reserves as well. I know for sure the pink has not been shipped to the boutique yet but I haven't followed up for the blue. I hope this doesn't mean bad news for me lol

Does anyone know what the barcode and QR code at the bottom of the tags are for as seen in @MrsMBunboxing ‘s photo of her beautiful new CCH? And has anyone ever received their bag with the tag cut off at the bottom? I noticed that the tag for the black CCH I got from 22P was cut. I’m wondering if this means my CCH is actually from a previous collection and they just put a new 22P tag on it. My strap is also only 37” but I thought the new leather-lined CCH straps were 39”. :sad:

My 22P tag for classic mini was cut too! But my SA showed me the item the day it arrived fresh from manufacture, so I believe its still 22P. Idkw they cut the tag though

Thanks all, at least it is not just me.

Imagine if these were actually models that were not meant to hit the market at all - Chanel would produce a few items to post on social media etc, but would never actually sell them in stores :biggrin:
Honestly after all of these crazy price hikes, making classics more difficult to buy than birkins and other shananigans in the past year, I would not be surprised at all... :doh:
