I got the chance to try on the backpack today. I think it's really cute! It falls nicely, imo. I also liked the caviar. It was softer yes, but felt durable and "smooth" as opposed to really stiff, which I do think makes sense for a backpack.
I ended up getting the backpack today too in black! So excited. But today is a happy and sad day. Happy because I was able to score the backpack, sad because my other SA texted that she got the light pink coco handle in today about 30 mins after I purchased the backpack already. If only my hubby was cool like @nat74 to have a chanel account, I could’ve gotten both today lol. Only you ladies understand my pain lol.I heard from a different SA that the chain isn’t heavy at all and she’s obsessed with this backpack so I gave it a shot!
Hope it’s not that heavy that it would bother me so I gave it a shot! Rang up already on hubby’s name so I can save mine for the light pink CCH. It should arrive on Monday or Tuesday right on the Lunar New Year Day!
P.S. I really hope I’ll like it in person just like how I love the 21S white caviar mini top handle! I didn’t like the top handle at all until I got the bag in my hands!
For color transfer and selling in the future, that would be your call. But as for the flaws, I would return this bag. Those defects are a little too obvious for me to tolerate. The back pocket of my mini top handle doesn't 100% lineup though. But it's on the back so I settled with it. HTH!
My hubby and I were just talking about this yesterday. I am seeing some fb ads just recently and am so surprised how a certain company can just make bags that look exactly like Birkin and Evelyn and even broadcast on social media. Unlike those other replica makers that try to sell through private chats.
My point was that with all these lookalike bags available online or on the street, could they make us feel safer carrying the real deal? Meaning would robbers these days think twice before action because they may snatch a fake bag that is worth nothing? If that makes sense at all ha.
This pink is so beautiful!! Would you say this picture is pretty true to tone in person?

IMO the wrinkles are very minor. I am OCD and can find a flaw or two... or three on almost every chanel bag I own. The most important things to me is #1 structure: bag is aligned and stands up straight. (i had one classic flap that wouldn't stand up on its own, the bottom of the bag was so slanted). and #2: flap must be straight. The minor wrinkling I can over look as I know it's only me that will be inspecting the bag close enough to notice. Now for this particular bag colour bag.... imo, I have never seen a more gorgeous pink EVER. But its personal preference. I got this same bag a couple days ago and there is a little wrinkle on the front of the flap. I noticed immediately and decided to let it slide because I was so aw-struck by the colour. I also knew there wasn’t any more to choose from and everyone in the store was staring at me wondering if I’m taking it or noT. Once this bag fell into my kung-fu grip the only way i was letting go of it was to give it back to my SA to wrap it in a box with a bow. I'm not worried about colour transfer because i will never wear this cross body unless im wearing white. I love the look of carrying this bag top handle with the thin sparkly chain dangling like jewelry. That being said... if the wrinkle on the bag is going to keep you up at night, or you are still second guessing whether to keep or not in a day or two return it.

Get the red in small! I may be biased since I prefer the small… I personally don’t need the extra capacity, and visually the bags look almost identical worn on me. AND this seasons red is perfect, I wouldn’t pass it up!
AAwww that is so disappointing. I hate the little wrinklings. That would bother me yo no end and I'd absolutely return it. I know it is probably "the last one in the entire universe" but for me, I would not accept that and have to let it go. Sorry dear I know it's really hard decision and super disappointing....the color is so beautiful.

Since it seems too late to try to get the light pink top handle mini, does anyone know whether the US ordered the rectangular vanity with handle in the same shade? Thanks!

. I am thinking of dragging my husband to a Chanel store and have him buy something for me so we can have his chanel account created and I’ll be able to take advantage of it in the future. do they run true to size?
