It seems that Chanel is trying to keep classics and handbags now for vips and clients buying rtw, jewelry, shoes etc. If you look at resellers they already have started listing the flap bags over $3k from the boutique prices. There are rumors that Chanel is moving towards the hermes way of selling quota bags. its sad because I don’t think this is fair to loyal customers nor to SAs.

I think this is what they are telling people. But, I know for a fact they are still reserving and have been. Each SA is still reserving for their clients. How they base which client gets what- I don’t know. But, I’ve been shopping there for over 20 years, and my SA has always reached out to me or me them, about what I want from the next season before the list fills up. I think they just aren’t advertising “waitlists” anymore.

Ugh that is so unfortunate to hear! I find the SF boutique so sad and difficult to shop at and have been told the same about no reserves. I haven't clicked with any SAs there and prefer the NM location.

Well I think a lot of top end brands would want to move in that direction to: (1) raise their brand value/status (2) make more profits (by forcing customers to buy other less popular items before getting hands on the popular ones)

I was just at a Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique today and chatting with a SA. She told me how difficult it is to get a Rolex these days, even an entry level Datejust watch (which is not that expensive at original price), and they will look at your "profile" as if they were Patek Philippe

Yes, it seems that is the case, it has been so hard for me to get a pink classic flap in the pink color. I couldn’t secure one for 22p and now that I’m inquiring about the 22s pink my SA says that the list is going to be very limited. (I been collecting less than 8 months)

Does someone know if there were be a chevron small CF this collection? After hours and hours of research and photos and 2 new bags, I've learned that I prefer the chevron. I just don't know how the pattern usually releases with collections.

I'm after chevron too, I think they're so unique. Card holders are also good. But I'm going to say no for this collection if I remember correctly? Someone feel free to correct me bc I definitely won't mind that I have the wrong information lol. I have been wanting chevron for a while now
