Since they were launched, I think only the large Deauvilles came with the handles. The smaller Deauvilles only had the shoulder straps. (If someone else can also confirm this, that would be great!)
Anyway, that's why I never pulled the the trigger! The large was too large for me, but the small had no handles and I really need handles on totes . I am really excited about the new small 22S Deauville tote with handles!!I hope you get your black one!

Actually there were small Deauvilles transferred from London (to the US) last year that had both sets of handle. I don't know if other countries typically receive small Deauvilles with both handles. When I saw the stock photo this week of the small with both handles, I sent it to my SA! Since Chanel often uses global stock images, it's entirely possible the photo isn't specific to stock ordered by the US. I will confirm once I get a confirmation, and if you get confirmation please let me know!

It depends. Some will search for you some won't. For me I always try to find them for my SA, and I send pictures when I can't. I mean if it makes their lives easier why not
