What are you looking for? If you dont mindMy SA actually contacted me to get my cc info a while back, but when I checked more recently, I was told the reserve list was full (before I gave her the cc info). I'm assuming when she took my cc info she doesn't know how many pieces are coming in, but now it doesn't look like I'll get one...
Still debating if I should go to reseller, still having (false) hope
Thank you for the info! I find this so confusing. I have a (new to me) boutique SA reserved a cf for me a month ago and she took my cc. My Saks SA also recently ‘requested’ a different items for me. Request was the word she used and I’m not sure if that’s the same as reserve? There’s really no reserve list. There’s only reserving or wait- listing. If an SA says an item is reserved for you, that means your name is attached to a particular piece expected to come to store and you are guaranteed to get it so long as the store receives the item without any issues.
They never reserve an item unless they either have the item already or saw the item listed on an upcoming shipment list and know for sure they’re getting one, and that it’s not allocated to another client.
In boutique language, they sometimes say “flagging the item for you”. This means the same as reserving; it means they confirmed the item is coming to their particular boutique and it’s reserved (saved) for you so it can not be sold to anyone else. So reserving is done piece by piece.
But if reserving is not allowed in that boutique, or the once that are coming for sure are already allocated (reserved), then some boutiques may take names down for a list (waitlist). The waitlist is to allocate any additional products they may receive or offer the ones that are passed by reserve clients by precedence until there’s no more.
PS, CC information is not necessary for reserving.
My NM SA said her store didn't order small CF in this color.Get it get it get itReally though it is a very pretty color!

Thanks to these droooool worthy pics I was TRIGGER HAPPY this morning and was pulling all stops ...and giggling all along the way... "NONone fo'you! You just got red cf, Ms.!"
Asking again in case anybody knows but do we know who ordered light pink caviar classic in small? Saks Neimans and stand-alone all telling me they only have medium wahhhhhhh
saks, nm and standalones boutiques are different in how they reserve. My nm never take a card for reserves but reserve means the bag is secured in my name and I will get it when it arrives. At the standalone I can only “wait list” which means nothing is guaranteed. When I was able to reserve at the standalone I had to provide a card and it’s automatically charged upon the items arrival.Thank you for the info! I find this so confusing. My NM SA just “requested” a heart bag for me yesterday. It’s not the same as reserved. She will get back to me and let me know if she was able to reserve it. Last month she “requested” the light pink cf and text me a few days later that it’s reserved for me which means when it comes in I have first dibs to pay for it and get it if I want. It is confusing but it will all start to make sense(ish) in a little bit.

Sounds like I will be getting the bag that the boutique SA reserved for me cause she did take my cc? It almost feel like we are begging SAs to take our money![]()
Are you in the US?3/10. My SA said she can ring my reserve that day.
This new SA said I had to pay a deposit to reserve and I thought it would be guaranteed but then recently, the SA told me they have to cancel because I don’t have a purchasing history in their boutique. I was really upset because I rejectEd an offer to be on another reserve list. This whole process is so confusiNg.There’s really no reserve list. There’s only reserving or wait- listing.
