chanel in my country is way pricer than it is in EU. like small trendy cc is the equivalent 5350 Euros in my country vs. 4800 Euros in EU. just checked the trendy flap is 3900 Euros in EU.

if i had an unlimited supply of money, i probably would buy the trendy flap. however because i see it as a fun piece, i would much prefer the classic-ness of top handle trendy cc in beige to this one in pink.

It’s the flap version of the Trendy CC and has been around for a few years. It has 2 compartments instead of the 3 and (obviously) no handle. It’s a few hundred less than the Small Trendy, not as wide. Beautiful profile but cannot be worn crossbody from what I recall when trying it on.

I got the 21s iridescent light pink, the iridescent finish is like a pink highlighter makeup, and satin finish to the touch, feels durable though! this is as close i can describe it!

Thanks for sharing! I got the 21s iridescent beige colour too and it's on the way to be delivered to me in 2 weeks so I'm just a bit concerned it!

Does the calfskin feel the same as the calfskin leather on the chanel boy bag? does it feel any plush or luxe?

Birthday blessings, how amazing! Happy birthday! Enjoy it’s absolutely breathtaking, I love this color. They really did a great job on this one, haven’t seen one that wasn’t absolute perfection.

It really makes me question, when there are quality control issues (like the current minis), how and why?... because obviously they can, on other bags, get it soooo right. To me it just shows a choice... like some things they purposely put less effort into, sadly.

You look amazing! In my personal opinion, your whole ensemble looked very classy and tasteful for any age. Please please please, no matter how high the number of years your blessed with, never allow anything to change how you freely express yourself. Everyone is going to have an different opinion, but you know who you are, let that light always shine! If you see another jumpsuit similar to this that you like, buy it and rock it!... because you truly looked fabulous for any age!

Happy birthday to you and many happy returns for today! Congrats on the bag it is definitely a keeper that so pretty pale pink is so hard to come by, omg I really wanted the medium flap in this colour too! Enjoy your well deserved bag and thanks for sharing the pretty pic with us! heh

So getting to the crux after my longwinded explanation, is it crazy to spend that much money on a metallic medium or is a better option going for smaller given potential leather issues??

Hi there: I don’t believe anyone has seen the metallic gold with black hardware in person yet so it’s difficult to speak to the quality of this particular piece. Metallics can wear more easily because the effect it is a finish on top of the leather. They would likely wear more easily than traditional caviar, so they probably wouldn’t be ideal as an “everyday” bag (I think that’s what you meant when you say you get your wear out of your bags?). I’d also be concerned about the black hardware chipping. You do say you are ultra careful with your bags, but if I were you I’d try to see the bag in person when stores reopen in the UK in April. Sometimes new bags in the boutique will tell you if there are quality issues to be concerned about (chipping hardware, chipping on the finish, chain issues, etc.). I hope this helps.
