Exactly my thoughts. Also the straps are limiting the use/options. I might have gotten it for the initial price when it launched (around 2400€) but the current price isn’t justified given its limitations.

Help needed please! I really want an item in the metallic gold/ black hardware option (At this point I’m not sure what the uk is receiving option wise but there seems to be the medium c/f, mini rectangle (no handle) and classic woc). Chanel is a luxury for me and something I’m spending a bit more on due to unexpected covid savings of not being able to spend much on life generally in the uk due to a year of on/ off lockdowns (stores here still closed until at least mid April). The medium c/f is the equivalent of $8,250 due to current exchange rate. The only photo I’ve seen of the mini on here (no others anywhere) the shape looks a little squashy as others have commented on, I like a rigid/ firm look!) ideally I’d like the medium. I was concerned about the hardware and some comments on the forum but mind has been put at rest about that. What I’m now concerned with is reading that Metallics don’t wear very well which is worrying given the cost of the medium. I get my wear out of bags (my first purchase 15 year old black with silver h/W still looking good and going strong) and am ultra careful with them. So getting to the crux after my longwinded explanation, is it crazy to spend that much money on a metallic medium or is a better option going for smaller given potential leather issues??

Calling for anyone in France.
I am quite confused with the availabilities of this collection. They went live on the website/app last weekend. However when I went to this Tuesday, there were only very few bags.. My SA says it’s due to the fact that the sales has been postponed... anyway, I’ve been texting him this week, it looks like they still haven’t receive anything..
So frustrating, why do the communication early when none of the product is available yet in boutiques??!?!
anyone has similar experience with other boutiques in France? FYI, I go to Montaigne boutique in Paris..

i loved the pink color chanel website has this bag in pink but if i cannot crossbody it, then idk. however in my country there is almost 1000 Euro price difference between the two bags.

I know a SA I contacted didnt get back to me regarding a question I had after replying to my first email, I guess they dont care to sell you a bag or items because they know they can easily sell it to someone else!

But here is the same, they have an official release date but they launch it and sell items a few days earlier!

That looks great on you worn that way! Somehow shortening the strap looks really good for this bag.

Oh dear you could be totally right. I only remember it was around 4000EUR while the Small was around 4500EUR (now 4800EUR since January) but it could also be less. Still, for a bag that only allows the strap to be worn one way I find it too expensive.
