Your 21S red CF is so beautiful!! I'm now on the hunt for on myself, even though i know it's probably impossible now.

This forum is incredible! I have always wanted a bright orange-y red caviar flap and I found one on Fashionphile and now have returned here to TPF after a hiatus since 2017 to figure out which season it was from since it didn't come with original tag indicating as such. I LOVE this bag- eek! My lighting is off and green is not the best background but it's so vibrant.IMG_2799.jpg

I’m just wondering how your iridescent coco handle has held up after a year. How often did you use it for? Is it difficult to maintain?

I got a purple iridescent coco handle recently and just wondering on the wear and tear for the bag.

I am sorry to report that I sold it :(
looking back, I really loved it, but I had purchased so much that I knew I should sell a bag, and having two white Chanel’s seemed excessive.
But I can honestly say I loved that bag. The corners were a concern, as all CCH’s are, but after 1 + year it was still in pristine condition. I was very careful not to wear anything that could cause color transfer, and handled it with care while using it.
And the reason I sold it was that I bought a LOT of new bags, RTW and jewelry last year; one of the bags was the extra mini light purple iridescent cch. It is very similar that it is a light colored cch that I have to be extra careful about the corners with. So I knew what I was getting into, and still bought it. :D
So overall, a white or light colored cch takes a bit extra diligence, but is totally worth it in my opinion

Thanks so much for your response, very helpful. Yeah, the sharp corners are a concern but it is what it is. I’ll be very careful not to wear with dark clothing and denim.

We might have the same bag! Although mine’s small but also in pearly, shiny caviar. I wanted a caviar bag in whatever color so I was smitten when I saw the bag in store. Here she is!
