Thank you! Finally found them in Harrods. They are C width and I was told that is the width they usually get. Are yours B or C?
The ones I kept are C width.
Here's the crazy story on my white ballet drama... You may recall my earlier post I had to order three white ballets.

First...
My Chanel shoe size is a 38. I have been a 38 forever, and I have bought probably over 200 ballets since I started buying Chanel.
Every pair has been a 38... forever. That's my size.

I ordered the white 38, and when it arrived, they were falling off my feet. I could not keep them on. Ugh. These were a 38B.
My SA then sent me a 37.5. They fit, but I prefer my ballets loose, and the 37.5 was tighter than I liked. They were a 37.5B, but I sent them back.

At the same time, my gray ballets arrived. They were a 38B, and they fit exactly how my other 38B ballets fit.

I told my SA the first white 38 ballet must have been off, and I asked her to send me another white 38 ballet.
The second white 38 ballet arrived. They fit, but it was a 38C! :annoyed::heart: All my other ballets are Bs. I don't own a C, so this will be the oddball.

I don't like oddballs, so I was going to return them and ask my SA to hunt down yet another white ballet as I want all my shoes to be 38Bs.

Then... I measured the width on several of my 38Bs as well as the new white 38C. The width of the sole was the same on all of them. I honestly could not figure out any difference from the B vs C.

So... to avoid more drama (these are just shoes after all), I decided to keep the 38C. Hence, I have one oddball 38C shoe!

Are your other ballets B? Try measuring at the widest point. I measured to the mm and could not find any difference.

I tend to go over the edge when it comes to precision, and this B vs. C was bugging me. Hence, I searched to find the exact difference. Here are some tables to share as FYI.

The first table is a Euro to US shoe size conversion. I am a Euro size 38, which converts to a US size 7.5.
The second table is the shoe width, based on the US shoe size.
My Chanel Euro shoe size 38 is US shoe size 7.5. The B width for a US 7.5 shoe size is 3 1/2" vs. the C width is 3 7/8". That's only 3/8" (or 9.5mm) difference, so I said to myself... okay, it's just a shoe... peace, let it lay. :annoyed::heart:

By the way, all my Chanel thong sandals are C widths which is consistent with my SA saying Chanel typically makes their thong sandals in C widths.

@HermesHabit

By the way, I have purchased ballets in London as well, and I got B widths.
The ballets I purchased in London were at the Chanel Boutique (New Bond and Sloane) and at LHR.
Ironically, as much as I love Harrods, I've never been able to find a pair of ballets at Harrods.

I think London does get C widths, and I recall Asia typically orders C widths as their standard width.

Maybe the Chanel B and C widths are secretly the same width, and Chanel just labels the ballets for the US "B" due to vanity sizing!

Haha perhaps, though I do think the B width fits me slightly better. I did enquire but clearly they are just telling me what they think I need to hear to make the purchase lol

Oh I get that, I like to be consistent too if I can but all my ballet flats are a mix of B and C. Every pair purchased in Europe are C but I have some (like the recent dark beige pair) that I purchased in the US that are B. I think the B fit slightly more snug. I took a half size down in the denim ballet flats from earlier this year - so you just never know. I’m still in London but must compare them when I get back.

I ended up purchasing both brown and black remotely since I really love the chunky look of this but they hurt my feet so bad 😫 bummer. Hoping they'll soften up with time

24c loafers and slingbacks
Congrats on your new shoes! I want to buy the white version of the loafers, and I am waiting to see them in person to make a decision. The white ones have contrast stitching.

The black leather looks a bit shiny and perhaps stiff? Are they a bit shiny like a polished leather, but not quite a patent?
For leather stiffness, are they stiff like the turnlock or two-tone loafers, or are they softer like the moccasins?
I have enough of the "stiff loafer" look; hence, I want something softer. Your thoughts please?

I love those tassles and the subtle logo. They look great on you.

I saw the white ones too… also so beautiful and had to stop myself at that point lol. Leather does have a bit of shine both in black and white, but definitely not patent. Super soft, like mocassins. No breaking in period for sure. Such a classic design too. Can’t go wrong with them. ☺️

Thank you for the update. They sound gorgeous. I bought the white/ivory moccasin loafers from the season earlier, and the leather is exactly how you described them. A bit of shine, but soft, not stiff like the chunky loafers. I love them.

I think I will like these new tassel loafers too! The contrast stitching would be different than the current white ones I have as I was a bit worried they would be too similar (but then again, I have four white ballets and I really do love white shoes).

In case you want another moccasin loafer but don't want to repeat the style, here are the ones I bought earlier this year. They also came in black and dark red. Super comfy.

Last question if I may... did you take your regular size? For the moccasins below and also the two-tone moccasions from 23B, I had to go down a half size. Hence, I am thinking for Chanel's moccasin/loafer sizing this year, I should go down half a size to be consistent. As FYI, for ballets, I am still the same size.

Thanks again for your help. Feel free to post more mod shots! I hope the white ones come in soon as it seems where you live, they have already arrived.
