Thank you for the update. They sound gorgeous. I bought the white/ivory moccasin loafers from the season earlier, and the leather is exactly how you described them. A bit of shine, but soft, not stiff like the chunky loafers. I love them.

I think I will like these new tassel loafers too! The contrast stitching would be different than the current white ones I have as I was a bit worried they would be too similar (but then again, I have four white ballets and I really do love white shoes).

In case you want another moccasin loafer but don't want to repeat the style, here are the ones I bought earlier this year. They also came in black and dark red. Super comfy.

Last question if I may... did you take your regular size? For the moccasins below and also the two-tone moccasions from 23B, I had to go down a half size. Hence, I am thinking for Chanel's moccasin/loafer sizing this year, I should go down half a size to be consistent. As FYI, for ballets, I am still the same size.

Thanks again for your help. Feel free to post more mod shots! I hope the white ones come in soon as it seems where you live, they have already arrived.
Beautiful mocassins, thank you for sharing yours in white! Had them in black but returned due to sizing issues and they no longer had the size that fit me.

As for the tassel loafers, my regular size is 35.5, buy I took these in 35c, perfect fit. I size down in loafers except the turnlock ones.

Share pics of the white tassel loafers once you have them. They are dreamy!

I'd really love to add a pair of heeled slingbacks to my collection, and I've read about them coming in a wide (C) width. Are they difficult to come by in the US? Would I have better luck finding them in a boutique as opposed to Saks, etc.? Is it only the classic styles that come in C width?

Hello everyone. Does anyone have these sandals? Are they as uncomfortable for you are they are for me because of the grommet on the thong ?? 😖😖😖

Hi! I have a lot of Chanel thong sandals like this style, with varying size CC logos.

However, none of my thong sandals have that metal grommet at the bottom of the thong. Is this a new design? I have not seen this before, but I can see how it would rub between your toes and hurt.

All of my thongs are super comfortable, but there is no grommet.

If you already bought them and cannot return them, you could put one of those doughnut hole pads to help.
If you can return them, I would do so. I have had ill fitting shoes before, and I end up never wearing them, so it's a waste.

Good luck!

By the way, I am not an authenticator, but I do have a lot of Chanels and these thongs. I just went to check, and the buckles on my thongs have the word "CHANEL" (all uppercase) at the bottom of the buckle.

It may be the photo, but I don't see "CHANEL" at the bottom of the buckle of your thong or the purple thong next to it. If you bought these used/from a reseller, you might want to check for authenticity. I'm not saying they are fake. I just notice a lot of detail, and I don't see the "CHANEL" on your buckle, and that is something Chanel always does.

Just wanted to share as FYI.

Hi there, thanks for replying. It hurts the ball of my foot terribly. So, share with me this donut you speak of 👀?? Of course, when i tried the shoes on, they felt fine, but the pressure during normal wear is totally different and TERRIBLE.

And no, they’re not fake. This photo is directly from Ala moana Honolulu where i purchased them. I didn’t have any photos in my phone of me wearing them to post, but i was able to find this picture from when I was asking my SA about them.

Hi! I also saw your second response, so let me reply here in one post.

First, to answer your question on the donut...
This is what I was referring to, something like this. I am a big fan of taking care of my feet, and when I am checking out footcare products, I see stuff like this which made me think of you and your foot. But... I have a better idea, so hang on!

This is my better idea!

I think this will work much better as you can create the shape you want such as a small round circle, then cut a slit halfway to the center. Now you have a slit where you can wrap this circle around the thong, and poof, you have now covered the grommet!

Just an idea of course.

That said... since these shoes really hurt you and you bought them new at the boutique...
If it were me, I would return them. I don't like to have to do unusual things to my shoes to make them work. I find it not aesthetically pleasing (e.g. heel pads, donut pads, etc). I like the beauty of a shoe as designed. That's just me.

If doing unusual things to your shoe also bugs you, tell your SA the shoes are killing your feet, you can't wear them, and you would like to return them or exchange for a different style.

I have done this twice. Both times, I had already worn the shoe out, and both times, my SA said no problem, we want you to love your shoes, you can exchange or refund.

The style thong you purchased is a very common and classic style with Chanel. It comes out all the time, in slightly different variations, and as I mentioned before, none of my thongs have the grommet.

Finally, I think from the photo your thong has a fabric sole. That may be what you want, but as FYI, these thongs also come in all leather which leather may be softer on your foot in case that matters too. You may want to consider a style without the grommet.

If they are killing your feet, and unless you love them, maybe consider returning them. I am sure your SA knows you are a good client, and she wants to make you happy. Plus, as you said, these shoes fit completely differently than just trying them on.

Just my two cents. Hope this helps and good luck to you!

Thank you! I’m going to try both of those options! I already told her about the pain, but no luck :( i know now to never get a shoe with that grommet again.

Beautiful mocassins, thank you for sharing yours in white! Had them in black but returned due to sizing issues and they no longer had the size that fit me.

Hi! My shoe saga...
I decided against the white tassle loafer as that loafer look was not quite what I was looking for.
All was not lost though as I could not get that photo of your beige & white two-toned loafer out of mind. They looked especially cute next to your black & white two-toned loafer!

So... you have inspired me to joined your double two-toned loafer club!
I rarely wear beige shoes, but these two-toned ones are so gorgeous as they are a pale beige, not a dark beige, which I love.

On sizing, and for others who are interested, my sizing is exactly like yours.
I took a size 38 for both of my turnlock loafers. However, for these two-tone loafers and the ivory loafers, I went down to size 37.5.
Thank you so much for posting your photos.
