Very cute!I have this same combo in a slingback. Honestly, I worry about the white heel and sole edge and how to keep it looking nice.

They will be fine. I have a lot of white-based shoes from Chanel, and none have ever given me any issue.
I'm glad you got them in the slingback... I bet they look so summery, especially with the white sole! I think the while sole is what makes the shoe look so crispy.

When I zoom in, in my opinion, it looks like suede due to the fibers, not velvet. Velvet is a fabric, and the fibers are much smoother. I have not seen suede on a ballet for a long time.

I tried 40 which is my size for all slides/mules. In ballerinas and sneakers I am 41 which is my normal size. I find most Chanel slides/mules run very large but I also have a narrow foot and the style of these shoes is on the wider side.

I don’t know what it is about this particular shoe but I didn’t like them despite wanting to like them. The shiny calf, quilting detail, the shiny metallic heel and the large turnlock is just too much. Even in the pink version with silver I thought would be better but it wasn’t.
