Oh no! Maybe you could ask a PS who can help you find it in Europe if you know your size?I’d love to see the purple! I contacted a few stores in the US and they all told me they didn’t order the pink color![]()

Hi! First, congratulations on your soon-to-be first pair of Chanel shoes! How exciting!hi! im looking to buy my first chanel shoes - im torn between the ballet flats or the heeled slingbacks. what would you guys recommend? id be looking to wear them to work and casually.
im also wondering if tweed would be a good option if i plan to be very careful with them (not wearing them when the weather is bad etc)
Thank you so much for the in-depth review, I appreciate your feedback. I'm currently waiting for the boot to arrive from Macau as it's sold out in Hong Kong, you're post was super helpful. I now feel I have a clearer mind as I tend to be quite impulsive, so thank you again for all your suggestions and will keep you posted! ☺️Hi! I love these boots, and here are some thoughts to share.
I like the lower heeled style a lot more than the higher. Why?
The lower heel fits more with the heel aesthetic, chunky low heel. I am not a fan of that chunky higher heel as I think it can look dated quickly, and I like my boots to last (in case that matters to you).
Other thoughts...
Chanel boots are very comfy to wear, and the leather is nice and thick (vs. the thin ballet leather). The shoe is very durable.
I can't tell for sure from the photo if this boot is a slip-on or has an inside zipper. From the cut, it looks to be a slip-on.
If they are slip-ons, it might annoy you when you slip them on and off as they can be a bit rigid. The boots in your photo do not matter that much as they are ankle length, but I've had Chanel tall knee boots that were slip-ons that were super annoying. I have also had Chanel ankle bootie slip-ons that were a bit annoying. Hence, I prefer zippers and will no longer buy slip-on boots. That's just me, and I like to be able to dress fast and not fight with my clothes. When you try them on, you might want to consider that aspect and see if it bugs you, assuming they are slip-ons.
It bugged me, and I have had two Chanel slip-on boots and got rid of both of them (one tall knee length, the other ankle bootie).
A comment on the ankle height...
I love ankle boots, but not all ankle boots are created the same.
The ankle height (not heel height) makes all the difference in how you can wear the boots. The boots in your photo are high ankle boots, so wearing jeans might be a bit tricky.
Typically, for ankle booties, you want the top of the bootie to show which is the beauty of the ankle boot.
The boot you are considering has a nice top edge; I love the two rounded leather pieces overlapping, and the added strap makes it so beautiful. It's definitely a bootie you want to be seen in full.
Wearing wide long jeans will be fine of course, but if you want to wear straight leg or cropped jeans, it might be tricky.
The cropped length will have to be very short as the ankle height is so high, so depending on how tall you are, you may find you don't like how short you have to wear cropped jeans/pants to accomodate for the taller ankle height. I hope that made sense.
It's a beautiful shoe. If you are worried about comfort, Chanel boots are comfy. They are also very durable too.
For me, my hesitiation on this bootie would be the ankle height. It's a bit high for me as a true "ankle bootie."
It will work great for dresses though, very beautiful.
Hope this helps. Good luck in your decision!
You are welcome. If you decide to get them, please post pics if you wish!Thank you so much for the in-depth review, I appreciate your feedback. I wholeheartedly agree with everything @BigAkoya says (no surprise as the Chanel Shoe SME) but wanted to add— if you choose a model in a basic color, but with a whimsical touch (i.e. black and white tweed—someone posted a pair with paint speckles just recently https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/april-2023-chanel-purchases.1060218/post-35604931), you can wear them as a statement piece casually, and they transition seamlessly into dressier situations. I recently bought a pair of beaded ones, and reached for them constantly over the last few months, as it was the holiday season and they’re quite festive.Hi! First, congratulations on your soon-to-be first pair of Chanel shoes! How exciting!
For me, there is no doubt in my mind to get the ballets. Why?
Your timing is perfect as right now, classic ballet shoes are the hottest shoe trend (e.g. Balletcore). They go with everything from dresses, to jeans, to shorts!
Ballets are a classic, never out of style, so aside from the bonus of being super on-trend now, Chanel ballets are also super comfy.
I can wear my ballets all day long. I think since you mentioned you will wear them to work and casual. The ballet is far more versatile than the heeled slingbacks.
The slingbacks are a classic shoe too, but they are dressier of course. I tried to wear them with jeans, but my after work look is super casual, and the heeled slingbacks don't quite work with my jeans look. They definitely do not work with my shorts look. Hence for me, my slingbacks are for work and more dressed up casual, not bum around casual.
I find I wear my ballets with everything, so it depends on how you plan to wear this shoe.
The ballet was my first Chanel shoe, and my plan was to wear it all the time! With everything!![]()
On which ballet to get, once you get addicted (and I hope you do), you will find ballets come out every season in different fabric and color combinations.
For me, my first pair was the classic beige/black ballet. A bit boring? Perhaps, it is an iconic classic. They went with everything, and I wore them to death. It solidified my love of ballets. I am glad I got a classic pair as my first, as I was able to wear it so often.
I think if you plan to wear your ballets often, get a color/fabric that is very versatile.
While you may want something fun/trendy, you may find you will not wear it as often, or once the trendy color/fabric is over, you will tire of it. That would be a waste for your first ballet.
If your heart is set on something tweed/fabric, yes, it is very durable. They last very well, so I would not worry. I would worry more about what outfits you have that would match your tweed ballets.
I hope this helps in your decision. I am so excited for you! Good luck and congratulations again!
Feel free to post photos of your new gorgeous ballets!
I love Chanel thong sandals and have a bunch of colors. They are classics, but the logo size varies each season, from small to jumbo. I find the thong sandals super comfy. I hope you love your new sandals and start collecting!A little obsessed with the crystal details this collection. This is not normal a sandal style I would go for as I prefer mules but the beautiful colours got my attention…
Comes in white, black, beige, dark pink, bubblegum pink, navy, light green and light yellow
Looks a little flat due to the lighting but the detail is super sparkly

Love them all! Did you get the middle shoes in the middle row (flat, ivory shoes with black satin toe?) recently? I couldn't find them in USView attachment 5759036
I had a sneaking suspicion the shoe count was maybe a little higher than usual this past year.
From right to left: 22A, 22K, 2 columns of 23C, and 23P on the left.
