Hi! My two cents for what it's worth...
I saw this new style too, and I am not fond of it for two reasons:
- I do not like the CCs as part of the shoe fabric. I feel it now looks more like a logo fabric shoe (e.g. LV monogram everywhere) vs. a stylish shoe. Some people like logo fabrics (e.g. Gucci does it too), but it's not my style. You have to ask yourself it it is your style.
- White with a black patent leather toe is definitely not my favorite combo. I have had Chanel ballets with black patent cap toes, and they seem off to me, so I ended up rarely wearing them. I felt it highlights the "shiny cap toe" vs. highlighting the shoe, color, or fabric. I ended up getting rid of my ballets with patent cap toes. The only two I kept is the classic black lambskin with black patent cap toe and a pale pink with an iridescent pale beigy pink cap toe, so it's definitely not a screaming black patent toe.

For a white ballet, the classic white lambskin with black cap toe is my favorite. I have gone through three pairs of these through the years. I love it, and it's a classic! I vote getting the classic white lambskin. Note though, each season the white is slightly differently. It can be a grayish white, ivoryish white, or even a pinkish white. I have had all three version. They also make a quilted white with black cap toe that is nice too. I have that pair also, but my favorite white ballet is the classic lambskin.

If you like this new logo-stamped fabric style, I personally think the other colors look better than this white with black patent combo.

I was looking at the light blue with white cap toe combo, but in the end, I did not order it due to the logo-stamp everywhere.
I love non-black cap toes as they are so different, especially white cap toes, so who knows... I may cave and get the light blue with white cap toe as I do love the color combo.

Just my two cents, and of course fashion is 100% preference. Hope that was helpful in your decision. Good luck!

P.S. I ordered the pink/ivory/golden beige tweed espadrilles. I am usually not a huge CC logo person, but these are so cute, and the pink is the perfect bright sunmnery pinky white I have been looking for, so I had to get them. Since you are looking for a white flat, this new espadrille style also comes in white in case you were not aware. Warning though, with the white combo, the huge CC logo is black, so there's a huge black CC logo screaming at you (the pink ones I ordered have a beige CC logo screaming so it's a bit more subdued). It may not be so bad as espadrilles are more a fun shoe (vs. a ballet which is more classic) and can look a bit crazy.
Do you have a pic of the espadrilles you ordered? I ordered all pink, I don’t recall another version.

I also have a high instep and very flat shoes are usually not comfortable but these were due to the cushioning on the sole. If you like them it’s worth trying on when your size comes in

Yes I totally agree about white jeans and denim! Thank you! And thanks for sharing where your jeans are from ..they make really nice denim from what I hear.

I’m also a matchy matchy person i will try to find shoes to match my bags or find the bag if I like the shoes haha
Yes I have a white classic flap so that will be another good look to try!:amuse:
Hi! I wish to report back on these denim ballets and another outfit you might possibly like.
I discovered a clean yet chic look that I really like, so I wanted to share.

Here was my simple outfit…
I wore a very classic white (pure white, not ivory) cotton shaker sweater. The white cotton knit texture coordinated well with the ballet "white frayed" stitching, love that! I matched it with a pair of jeans in almost the same wash as the ballet. That ballet has a bit of a steely blue, which I love. I also wore a long WG long necklace, earrings, and other WG jewelry. I wore the White bowling bag.

It sounds so boring, but it was so clean and crispy.
I was pleasantly surprised when a person made a compliment and also mentioned she liked "the jeans with the ballets as they matched so good".

The jeans I wore were Mother Dazzler, and the wash is We The Animals. In case you or anyone might be interested, here is the jean. I reposted a photo of my ballets. Isn't the wash a perfect fit? Well, at least I think so.

I just wanted to share since we are talking about these gorgeous denim ballets new for this season!
I've been obsessed with ballets for years, and I am so glad they are trending again.

Hi! Yes, here is a photo from the Lookbook.
See that huge screaming contrast color logo?
Add on top of that a black cap toe, and now there are three colors on this shoe.

I think I can live with it as the logo is a golden beige and sort of matches the rope. If the logo was black, I would have for sure passed.

Is this the pair you got? I would love to know which pink you got that was all pink. I think I would like that better.

What I do love about this pair is the color. This pink is a beautiful bright pink, but it's not neon pink. I have been wishing for this clean bright pink for a while. I have the pale pink from two spring seasons ago which I also like a lot.

The first photo is the new espadrille from this season with the screaming logo and black cap toe.:heart:
The second photo is my espadrille from two seasons ago, with the same pink theme logo that matches the pink cap toe. It's a bit more subtle which I prefer (although looking at the photos only, it seems my pink pair screams more  ). It doesn't though, it's a really mellow pink espadrille.

Yes, this is what I ordered. I don’t love huge logos either but I find the espadrilles so comfy and I love to collect them in different tweeds, this pink looks beautiful!!

I'm glad to hear you think they are nice too. I love this pink shade as well. It's so bright and happy!

Since you like pink, did you order the fuschia tweed ballets? I'm not sure if you are a ballet gal.
I love love love ballets, but I am on the fence about that fucshia pink as it's not quite my style. It seems a bit harsh and in-your-face for me especially with that black cap toe. I told my SA "yes" to them, but I also warned him I will probably not get them.

I ordered these…..I think they are going to be amazing! I have so many ballet flats I am now focusing on slingbacks as the older I get they are just too comfortable to resist for evenings out!

I am thinking of buying the slingbacks in flat version. Do you find them comfortable? I’ve read from a few people that they find the heel version more comfortable. I have a few pairs of the heel version and love them but I would like to have the flat version for those days I want to be more casual.
I have a classic version with a heel and yesterday I went to try on the flat one. My issue with flat slingbacks is if I size down, then the strap fits, but the shoe is small. If I get my size, then the strap feels a bit loose and I think will get looser over time. Another thing, having flat feet myself, somehow I find the flat version a bit uncomfortable. The heel one is great, but the flat one whenever I try it on, it feels weird on me

I received the flat version yesterday. Ordered them remotely from my SA.
I just ordered my usual size and they feel just a tad bit small. I think once it stretched out more then it’ll fit better. But I do find them uncomfortable compared to the heel version. I’m hoping once I break them in, they’ll feel more comfortable like my other slingbacks with heels

I would not risk it. I am not a fan of buying shoes too small. I've bought shoes too small, and I rarely ended up wearing them. Big mistake and a waste of money. If it's just a tiny tiny tiny bit too small, it's fine, but not if it's a half size too small (your feet will know the difference). Maybe first do the sock stretch procedure If it's still too small, I would for sure get the next size up.

If it's just the straps being too loose on the next size up, it's an easy fix.
You can get the size that fits and have your cobbler shorten the straps a tiny tiny bit. Be sure not to let the cobbler decide (I did that once... he made it too tight). You need to tell him exactly how much you want it shortened or you and him work together very detailed to get it perfect. This is it ends up at the tension you like. I like my tension still loose, not tight, as long as it doesn't fall off. Too tight, and you get red lines/blisters in the back of your foot.

Good luck!
