@BigAkoya Is this available in US?
Yes! I got them at BG on Friday (I went to NY for a weekend of fun ).

I went to Chanel and Saks and did not see them. Call BG. They also offer them in black. I am thinking of grabbing the black too. Super comfy and so pretty. I have been waiting for feminine low heeled pumps for a long time! Yippee!

EDIT: Oh, and it may be hard to see, but there is also the CC logo on the cap toe. Such a nice pump.

Posted over in the July purchase thread but thought I’d try here also.
Picked these up in sale. Great heel on the black pair, not too high and not too low.
The beige pair, there is just something about them that I love but am not certain yet where they fit in my wardrobe at the moment. Any styling tips from anyone who has these or a similar pair??

Hello everyone!
Somehow I ripped the leather on the heel of my beloved slingback shoes!
I took the shoes to Chanel yesterday, the SA was lovely and very helpful, the shoes will be sent to repair in France.
I already miss the shoes  they are the only pair of heels I find comfortable enough to wear all day long.
Does anyone have experience with shoe repair at Chanel?

My boutique finally had the beige espadrilles in my size! The leather is so buttery soft, i love them! Can't wait to wear them out (unfortunately it's very rainy here in Germany at the moment )
They will look so cute with a white summer dress

I'm a big Chanel shoe fan, and I have both these shoes and love them! Like you, I can wear the slingbacks all day long working/walking in the city. For your heel, I have messed up a heel like, many times. The worse was when I used to wear thin heels and they would get stuck in the sidewalk cracks when I was walking in the city. I have taken my heel to repair, and they can fix it. Of course, it will not look perfect, they will pull back down the leather, smooth it out, and kind of buff it out. It will look fine.

Speaking of shoes... I see you like the beige w/black toe combo. Me too! I love that and the white w/black toe combo. If you like the beige w/black, you may also want to get a pair of the classic ballets. You probably already have those I am sure. The ballets are the most comfortable shoes! I can walk miles (and I have) in those shoes.
The espadrilles are super cute on, but I cannot walk in miles in them.

By the way, side tip... if the little CC logo ever falls off (yes, happened to me!), Chanel will also replace it, so no worries on that little CC either.

Love both your shoes! I am sure you will be happy with them.

Any idea what the cost will be to fix that heel? Just wondering what Chanel gets for this type of service..
I have done both. I have had Chanel fix them and also took them to a cobbler.
Chanel fixed them for free, even though it was my fault, but the shoes were relatively new when I bashed them, and I am a regular client. I think all they really did was send it out to their contracted shoe repair company.

I have also taken them to my local shoe repair, and I paid like $10-20 for the repair. It was almost nothing as I recall.

For all shoe issues now, I just take it to my local shoe repair as they get it back to me in a few days.
With Chanel repair, it's such drama and you wait forever. Not worth the hassle to me, especially since they send it out anyway.

Since we are talking about shoe repair, I would say the most important thing to keep on top of is the heel. Don't let your heel run down so low that it starts to scrape into the shoe itself. Everyone walks kind of lopsided, so one side of the heel will always wear out faster, uneven. I fly a lot, so I see a lot of people sitting around at the airport, and therefore I see shoes and heels! I cannot tell you how often I see nasty heels where the heel is nearly gone and it's wearing into the leather and ruining the shoe. Now the cobbler has to pull down the leather to make it look nice again.

I always check my heels at the end of every "season" (boots at the end of winter, espadrilles at the end of summer) to see how the heel is doing. If they are okay, great. If they are getting worn down on one side, I get new ones so they are ready for when the season comes again next year.

Anyway, just another thought to pass on. Worn out heels look super sloppy to me, especially on a high end shoe. Replacing is a heel costs almost nothing and makes the look nice.

I have been waiting for a beige with black cap toe, knee high, flat heel, back zip, boot for years! The one you posted is gorgeous. All that is missing for me is the "knee high" part.

I tried high ankle boots (this boot is a high ankle boot, not a low ankle bootie), and they don't work on me as I am short 5' 2" (kind of like the Uggs look, makes me look dumpy), but if you are taller, they would look great with a black top and skinny jeans.

If you can wear high ankle flat boots, I would totally grab these!

Hi all, I am debating between two pairs of shoes right now. Would love to hear your opinion. They are very different! But they both appeal to me. The ballerinas are classic (although I am leaning towards camel/black instead of just black) and the gold sparkly pair are so cool. Let me know your thoughts!

Not in CA but I’ve sent several pairs to Rago Brothers in NJ (I am on the west coast too) and have been very pleased with price and results.
I forgot the name of it, but there is a shoe repair place right outside of the fashion island “circle” and right by the Irish restaurant. Louboutin sent me there and I was very pleased.

Thank you! Yes, I'm absolutely in love with the beige/black combination. I was never much of a shoe person, but there is something about Chanel shoes that makes my heart sing.
I have yet to try on the ballet flats, they look so chic! My late grandmother used to wear ballet flats all the time, they remind me so much of her.
I'm glad to hear that the repairs on your shoes always worked well! I just hope the repair won't take too long.

I think it depends for what occasion you want to wear them, the ballet flats are perfect for every day use, and the gold shoes are better for special occasions or going out. I personally would choose the ballet flats, the gold shoes would be too sparkly for me, but I think that really depends on the individual lifestyle. But I really like the shape of the sparkly shoe. And tbh, who wouldn't love some glitter after the last 1.5 years with covid?

Hi! For me, I would get the classic ballets in beige/black if you do not already own them. I have them and also the black/black, as well as many other colors.

I would say the two color combos I wear the most are the beige/black and white/black (summer). I also have an all beige, but it's not the same without that contrast black cap toe.

I almost never wear my black/black ballets. I bought them because they were classic, but quite frankly, they are boring, and I like to make more of a statement with my shoes. Unless you love wearing black shoes, I would skip them. Yes, they are super safe and don't show dirt, but to me, they are also super boring and on the edge of looking stuffy. Even when I wear all black, the beige/black ballet combo rocks! I never reach for my black/black.

I have also had metallic ballets... I had a gold pair and also a silver pair. At the time, they were so cool and trendy. I wore them during the season I purchased them, and then after that, almost never, so I got rid of them. I'm also not really a metallic shoe person as a general statement (e.g. no sequins for me!), so after buying two pairs and also getting rid of them, I will not buy metallic shoes again.

I would say if you love metallic shoes and wear them all the time, get them as they are different.
If you are not really a metallic shoe person, and only want them now because they are trendy, I would skip them. The metallic trend is a trend that is very black & white to me. Meaning... when they are in fashion, they are very trendy. But once they are out if fashion, they look very dated and Las Vegas disco to me.

A classic ballet flat is timeless. That's just me to share my thoughts. I know it's all preference.
Hope this helps, and good luck in your decision.
