Oh I see, because I’ve heard conflicting stories from people, a lot of them say the cobbler has to shave a bit of the sole off to apply the rubber sole anyway?

A very good cobbler once told me that it's best to wear the shoes a little bit before getting rubber soles put on them. When you wear them, it rubs a little bits off of the leather soles to give the rubber soles a better surface to adhere to. HTH.

I love these shoes. I saw them just browsing around the other day but they only had pink and blue. I wanted them in black but couldn't find them anywhere online. Would you mind sharing your secrets? Lol. Or, if anything upload a photo of the black ones they released? I would love to see them!

To get to the point, I did try these on and I would say they are true to size but are also very narrow. I didn't do much walking in them though. I am usually a 5.5 or 6. I tried these on in a 6 and they felt like a good fit. They are sneakers, so you have a bit more wiggle room if were talking just half sizes.

Anyone have the tweed slingbacks? Just bought a pair of the black slingbacks because I thought they were more practical, but the tweed really caught me eye. Trying to decide if they have an "old lady" vibe, however. I'm in my 40's, not going for that look, lol!

Do you have the beige with black toe combo? That’s a classic and looks great, youthful, and chic with jeans or a dress.

In my opinion, the tweed looks a bit heavy for spring/summer which is when I wear my slingbacks because slingbacks to me are a warm weather shoe.

Love these shoes!

Havent even worn them out and they already broke.:shocked:
Just got them a week ago at Neimans.

I took them out for photos and realized before I put them on the ankle strap had snapped after one try on and maybe ten steps around the house.

Is this an one off incident? Couldn't believe it. :sad:

This was my very first Chanel purchase. I loved the quality of these shoes so much I went out and got 2 more pairs of Chanel shoes a couple days later. They seemed like such high quality...and then this. Very strange.

Hope Chanel covers the cost.

Regardless, they look great on!:heart:

I don’t see anything really Chanel about them. The heel is interesting , but that is it for me personally, so not a huge fan.
